The mark 50 is practically the perfect Ironman suit it blended the early Ironman suits rugged with the later series of agility and strength, shame we didn’t see it more because the 85 was essentially the same makes you wonder how much more improved it was to be 35 suits extra

for sure! That's why I wish we saw more of the mark 85 in endgame. for such a massive leap in numbers for the armor, It would have been cool to see even more unique capabilities, when in reality it was just a slightly improved mark 50.

I wish i could like the nanotech stuff but dang it i can't hold the suspention of disbelief enough for this one, how does the suit lose weight when compressed into the arc reactor? All the nanoparticles are still in it, and what about the stuff coming out of his zero canons and healing spray? Or are those made of nanoparticles too?

In-term of design, i'm not rily a big fan of it because it make it look more like a body suit and lack that clunky and bulky metal armor suit that Tony use to have. I would honestly say if the design was similar to 45 or 46 with some maybe minor adjustment because of the whole antman able to crawl inside his suit and malfunction it, it would be top-tier. But in-term of weaponry arsenal, it far surpass all of it predecessor, I thought that Mark 7 was like THE Tony weapon's arsenal but I guess Nanotech allow Tony to literally make anything that he thinking like that Xenomorph Blaster.

Yeah the sleeker/slim fitting design was never that appealing to me either! You said it, when it comes to weapons and capabilities, there’s no topping it! (Till the mk 85 came around lol)

I completely agree! The mark 85 has a sort of retro vibe to it, but the mark 50 is much sleeker and fluid in its design, with more intricate patterns within the body of the suit, and the darker red also helps a lot with that!

Dude, this is my favorite video of yours. A longer length video talking and going into details about a really cool suit. I just love learning more about the mark 50's weapons and capabilities. Realistically nano suits would be the only suits that would work and function to perfection. The nanos can regenerate tissue, amplify, expand, condense, restructure making it incredibly versatile, adaptive & resourceful. Every other suit is limited in flexibility which is more important than strength and durability. Rhodes aka War machine fell from a great height, (civil war) hitting the ground leaving him paralysed. If he was wearing a nano suit, the armour would become soft, elastic, malleable acting like a bouncy castle or a giant airbag, slowing the fall and minimising injury. In iron man 3, War machine (again) is exposed to extreme heat forcing him to eject. A nano suit would reduce temperatures within the armour automatically. It’s the little things like this that make the nano suit utterly flawless. It’s the pinnacle of all the iron man suits.

Very well said! It’s almost understated how powerful the nanotech suits truly are in the movie since tony mainly uses it for the typical iron man maneuvers! If we ever see nanotechnology utilized on this level again, I hope they go nuts with the potential/capabilities

Honestly… you’re right! The fact that he made him bleed and put up that much of a fight against 4 infinity stones was pretty impressive! Take the gauntlet and weapons away and stark may have won!! But also consider thanos was a lot more stoic and laid back compared to his warrior 2014 self 🤣

Iron Man Mark 50 has red all over while Mark 85 armor has red with gold parts. So they are almost the same.

Before seeing Endgame I predicted Tony would work with the Wakandans and create a vibranium nano suit which would be able to withstand the power of all six stones. I was partially right…

How was the housing unit empty tho? 39% of the suit was still intact covering half of tony's torso and half of his hands and most of his arms and little on his thighs and feet and i wonder how all of that wasn't able to form a completely restored helmet

I assume Tony used a decent amount of the remaining nanites to help restore the guardians ship, since it was in pretty bad shape after the battle on titan, and also as seen briefly when him and nebula are making repairs while tony is giving his message to pepper! With all the repairs and restorations done, That likely left only enough for him to make the helmet! Leaving it empty by the time he handed it to steve :)

I wasn’t able to find an official answer but we saw tony inject micro chips in his arm to summon the mark 42, so theres a chance he did something similar for the mark 50 & 85 :)
