What's wrong with people. He works for Rebel Offroad. It's his job to have an awesome Jeep. It's over the top. If it was a piece of crap he'd probably be looking for a new job. This isn't a poor mans Jeep, but it's one we'd see in a magazine or video and wish for. Great Job. Thanks for another great video.

I just ordered a new 2021 JL Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited on November 12th. And now we wait... I was born and raised in the East County of San Diego and grew up in the El Cajon, Lakeside and Santee areas. When I was born in 74’, my Dad owned a 1972 1/2 Chevy 4x4 and used to take me out off roading all the time. Then as I got into high school I bought a 1980 Datsun 4x4 for only $500.00 off of one of my youth group leaders at church. Later on I would buy a brand new 1997 Toyota Tacoma 4x4. It was a basic 4x4 that was an extra cab but only had a 2.7 liter I-4 and 5 speed manual transmission but I went everywhere in that truck. I off roaded all over California, Arizona and Nevada but my favorite spots to go were out in the East County mountain, up in the Mt. Laguna area in the Cleveland National Forrest. Buckman Springs and In-Ko-Pa were also my 2 favorite areas to go, even if it was for the day or a few hours. Anza Borrego was also always a fun place to go as well. In 2003, I moved to Colorado and left Commiefornia behind. But I will always love and miss the California that I grew up in. But not what it became! In 2007, I would buy my second Tacoma. A 2007 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road. Like my first one, it too was an extra cab but had a 4.0 V-6, 6 speed manual transmission and had an electric rear locker. I absolutely loved that truck too and had both Tacoma’s set up for off roading. I sold my 07’ because my kids outgrew the back seat. My heart was immediately broken because I no longer had an off road capable truck. This year I finally was able to add another vehicle but for off roading purposes only. I had considered a new 2021 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road Pro but knew I was going to be limited on lifting the truck, having a front locker and doing what I wanted and needed the truck to do so I then decided that it was time to switch to a Rubicon. This will now be my first Jeep but I am excited for the new adventures that await!

At 13:10 in the video, could someone please explain what he means. I'm getting started educating myself about Jeeps as I hope to make one my next vehicle (1-1.5 yrs from now). What I think I hear is "ARB air locker." As I understand ARB makes air compressors that some mount under the hood and they also make camping refrigerators. I did a search and it came back with what looks like a differential. I'll ask the naive question. For what do you use it? Thank you in advance.
@tylerhall1825 жыл бұрын
You lock the differential so the wheels turn at the same time for traction. They have videos on KZbin about them

I never installed my LED bar because I decided it would detract from my look and recently was thinking I might go with these round type lights but after reading comments about difficulty cleaning dead bugs off non hard shell RTTs and remembering the mess the last time I went thru a bug orchard I am now thinking I am going to make a custom, removable, curved (vertical not horizontal curve), smoked plexi or anodized aluminum cover that I will only remove for off road,. Less noise and wind resistance, no worries about all too common stay, flying, gravel on the freeway.

I never understand why everyone points their A pilar light straight on. I have a duel set and I have one at 45, the other at 90 degrees off the front. It gives me 270+ degree sweep of light. I love it. Having all the lights straight on was a waste of several lights. The pilar lights just didn't add anything pointed straight. Just my two cents. Great jump! Awesome jeep!

I hope someone can point me out to the right direction. Thank you for this KZbin post.👍👍👍👍👍

You plan on using that roof rack for a rooftop tent? Interesting route to go, given the website puts it's load rating at 264 pounds

264lbs is the dynamic weight, static weight is 800lbs. I have the same rack and it's perfect for my RTT.

TrailRecon oh no way?! I didn't see that on the website. That's pretty legit actually it's a sleek design. That's kind of surprising the roof itself is good up to that weight

Can you list the specific model to the roof rack? And does it have the backbone installed? Can you get away without backbone system / drilling in the top? Thanks! Unfortunately, its hard to search the answers so if it was already answered, I apologize!

Here is a video I did of the roof rack a while back: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iXiqqauGnJiUrK8 The backbone is what give the rack it's strength, I would not put any weight up there without it.

Beautiful Jeep! I have a big question. When you're on a trail, with a big rock or something right under the rock sliders, is there a way to open the door without the running boards deploying onto the rock?
@noelvazquez33717 жыл бұрын
