I Love this movie so Much. I saw it for its PURE ART (CREATIVITY, ACTION, PLOT, MARTIAL ARTS ACTION, EVEN COMEDY, AND MOREOVER ITS MESSAGE - THE WHOLE NINE YARDS). PERFECT MOVIE. Love it so Much.

The hit sounds are terrible in this version. This is definitely not the version I grew up with.

thanks for the clip, but would really prefer the vhs version, it had the original sfx, and its not edited, sick of the dvd/vhs late 90s-00s era, they seriously had to add in what they deemed "realistic" sfx but made it worse, same with drunken fist 2, hell even hollywood did it "romeo must die", listen to the bandage scene at the end of the jet li movie, wrapping his hand in bandages made sounds?? lol not only did it failed to make it sound realistic it sounded more fake

they edited alot of stuff, bad translation is one thing but hell even in the 70s they would dubb the fighting stance names, here they just cut them out, scenes edited out, and the modern sfx sucks, watch the vhs cantonese version
