Melody this video on the Easy Press was great. I think that there is a learning curve with it. I have watched yours, Ken and Sean's, and Tanners videos on the Easy Press and I've found that after a couple of practice runs, you can really get the hang of it. I'm going to watch Lorries next. It looks like she has done a couple of fun projects too. The more I watch the more I'm thinking I'd like to have the Easy Press. I want to thank you for sharing your creativity and talent with all of us. You are so fun to watch!

Will do. I ordered Iron-On Foil and just read in the Easy Press booklet it has to be hand-washed. My daughter and daughter-in-law are not going to be happy with me about that!

Do you need to use foil iron on to put your design onto the hat ? It doesn’t work with regular circuit transfer paper ?

Melody, Does the vinyl stick to the seam at the center of the hat? Does the vinyl that is attached where the seam is detach over time? (I was going to heat press a baseball cap, but I was reluctant about the integrity of the vinyl attaching over the seams.)

So sorry for the late response. The vinyl seems to hold ok to that seam, but it needs to be about 1/2 " above the bottom seam

htv and iron on are the same thing :) htv stands for heat transfer vinyl, which is iron on

Thanks for the tutorial. I had a client hat order go wrong a few months ago. A local craft store has a heat press (I tried a hand iron first) and we could not get glitter vinyl to stick. We thought maybe it was the hat material, so I gave them a light hand wash and still no luck. It's a cadet hat with a little more bend/curve to it than your hat. Do you think I'd have better luck with foil and/or the Easy Press? Even regular HTV was troublesome. Halp, Miss Melody!! :-(
