as someone in iron mmr, no we don't. we deal with support bots(like actual robots), people trying to throw to sell their iron accounts, absolutely insane smurfs, people who purposefully run it down to derank, and getting 6 LP a win and -20 a loss.

The fucking AD mid Yuumi alone makes this game legendary. How the fuck did she make the early game work. How did she beat the TF in that early game trade. I actually fucking respect the Yuumi for making that work somehow and not doing terribly Edit: I looked them up. They ran Mid Lethality Caitlyn and fucking tank Zoe support. With Smite for some godforsaken reason. And they got 12/1/13 somehow

It is really hard to trade into yuumi with her passive shield ealy lvls. Lowkey always play ad yuumi mid into champions like vex in normal games. You have enough sustain to at least not die a single time in laning vs most mages

I actually love watching low elo matches, the rest have zero magic, an extreme "calculated" vibe etc ultimately not as entertaining. I'd wager these people are having more fun too(least the ones that can manage to not take "elo hell" so seriously), bc something that is this exciting to watch sure must feel exciting to experience. I respect them. The nearest it can get to this on higher elo is stuff like Skooch's theory crafting or "way off meta, just vibes" picks. Novelty 👌🏾

It's so true! I've been shoutcating for an amature tournament where there's a High and Low elo, and without a doubt the low elo games are way more fun. Usually the teams with the best attitudes are the ones that end up with the best come from behind wins.

This is magical. Reminds me of the good ole days when I was in iron and it was just a fiesta all game. I know I hated it back then, but really it’s the only time I ever had fun. Now that I know how you’re “supposed” to play I feel like I never get to just try something and have fun, mostly because I have tried it before and have a decent idea of how it’s going to work out assuming everyone plays it right, so it’s just gambling, not experimenting. This reminds me of the joys of discovery.

No matter what the situation was, no matter who really deserved the kill, I'll promise you this.. A "?" will be spammed, either cause they believe it was "their kill" or because you died.

Iron rank is actually destroyed by smurfs. Those players are terribly bad and often new to the game yet, with at least one Smurf in every game it’s impossible for them to recover and learn anything, that’s the true elo hell. I know because some week ago I played recently some games there on an account I made when I was new to the game and I encountered at least another Smurf in almost every game

Having played this game like I have, I cannot stress enough that optimized play is just a mistake if you want to have fun. It’s hit the same point yugioh has, where how the match plays out is guaranteed 90% of the time purely by opening hands and deck concepts, but when you go down to lower tiers of play, it’s nonstop insane science experiments where literally anything could happen.
