The Great Dictator speech is much more powerful and valueable. If you want good mix, based on it - look for melodysheep's remix. It was removed from youtube, but you wont get hard to find it somewhere else. There's no harmony between ordinary and monotonous song and movie fragment. But if you liked this, I think you'd love Charlie Chaplin - Let Us All Unite! (melodysheep). its just obviously better and may make you emote)

Moreover, i'm kinda mad of its preview picture. Visually done well, designer in me is calm, but how narcissistic person should be to put his himself in a row with Chapln? Anyway it's not even smart - noone will ever think it's fair enough. One not does compare yourself with Charlie Chaplin. It's just fking pathetic and impudent.

I looked at the version you mentioned; its still on KZbin. Its OK, but excludes most of the speech. Its mixed in such a way to include color images which greatly distract from the beauty of old B&W film productions.

Sorry, bro, I didnt meant to offend you, ok? I apologize. You should understand, I judge a song by those hights, which you set by using such powerful speech and such honored actor. It makes people to compare the song with all amount of world music, where so many great masterpieces were written. Dont take it to close, just composing. What about Melodysheep - check some of his videos, he's got impressive sense of harmony - most of those mixes stays in your head for a long time. Maybe you'd know how the hell he's doing it. Anyway, I wish you just success and progress. If you'll get better: I got not a single musical skill, despite of all my desires and tries, so good taste at music is all i got after years I tried to reach something bigger. And that's not very helpful, I'd say.) So, as I said, I never wanted to be offensive, but I gotta admit I was. And I'm sorry for that, I shouldnt be that rude. Internet sometimes makes you act like people you despise. P.S. Agree about visual part of the clip, as I saw it 1 time, I thought its some cut, made by fans. Charlie chaplins delivery of that quote is something special. What i find weird to think about is its the same kind of powerful speeches that make people go to war. The power of speech is greatly underestimated.

Perhaps inciteful at most I would say. Nobody can MAKE one go to war. Perhaps a tyrannical type of decision by a govt, or other such type of organization can draft you, brainwash you, and so on. But, we all have free will and a choice. During the time of the film of Charlie it was WWII. Surely, one can easily justify the need to defend a world against the cruelest kind of tyranny that has ever existed in the history of humankind. But, again, free speech does not make one go to war. There are choices. Thanks for the comment.
