ABOUT DANNY
-----------------------
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!
I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.
On KZbin and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.
Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble
I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

Hi Danny, another great vlog. I need to thank you for helping shave 10 shots off my last round of golf on Saturday. I was suffering with he dreaded shanks so I looked up your video on shanking, watched it three times and only shanked 3 shots all day, as opposed to at least 12 or 13 per round in my previous 4 or 5 rounds. Its still there a bit but definitely improving. Paul

@@DanielMaude Went to range today. Hit one or 2 200 yds carried but out of 60 balls. Doing things right from the most part. I need to make it a point to focus and then things work well. Still a bit of a struggle but much better. Helps to have things figured out before hand then while in the process of swing....lol. I think that is really key now. I got to have a game plan before no matter how bad or how good so I can focus. Stepping up to the batter's box and commit. Ty for the reply.

Hi Thomas, thanks for taking the time to comment. Could you let me know where you where `I say the lead shoulder should be low with driver as if this is the case I certainly wouldn't advise you to haver the left shoulder lower than than the back shot for any club unless you are producing a speciality shot. Hi Danny having some major issues with my driver at the moment. I went to Murcia about 6 weeks ago and was playing the best golf ever. Then out of know where started shanking my irons, couldn’t believe it but was bombing my driver. So I worked on my irons and getting my elbow in front more and bowing the wrist. As a result I have my driver face closed do hitting very low hooks and I can’t help grip the driver with a closed face. So I am trying to reverse what I have been doing to get my driver grip back to a neutral position. At the moment it is a very strong grip with my driver and feels very peculiar when try to grip the driver to get face is a neutral position. Any tips?

My playing buddies reckon I don’t follow all the way through. Wish I could master this because my iron game has improved no end since following these instructions. Danny, for the driver, I notice that if I put the ball toward the front foot and move the handle behind the club head, the club face becomes closed. Are you doing any thing when you grip the club (like opening the face), or taking your stance (like closing it) to get the club face square at address?

JLennyZ difficult to explain in words but do what ever you feel you need to get the club square while keeping the handle behind

Danny, I've had success using your set up advice in this video by additionally opening up the club face, to square it to the line, at address. So much so, that I attribute it to my 33 net score and our flight championship, last night. Thanks, man!

Great vid, Dan. I took something totally different from the vid actually. How many times were we told about getting our knees touching after impact?!!! Well, you don’t do that and it looks powerful and simple. Sorry, Dan!!

Hi Danny I have a huge over swing with my driver caused by my left arm breaking down do you have any tips to cure this
@DanielMaude
@DanielMaude 5 жыл бұрын
Hen Broon over swings are generally caused because you are swinging your arms and not turning your body from a balanced position. Set up with your weight on the balls of your feet and with no club let your left arm just hang down in front of you. Make a backswing by loving your left shoulder and left side of your back. Where your arm stops is the top of your swing. Put your right hand on

Hi Danny. Does the “plane landing” thought work for chipping?
@DanielMaude
@DanielMaude 5 жыл бұрын
davidstevan1 not really as it leads to too much compression and power, chipping is more of a gliding before and through the ball

@@DanielMaude Have you done a chipping video? I practise this more than anything but I always end up thinning my first chip on the course and then I take out the putter!

Hi Danny, magic, but a problem! it's not always possible to see what is happening at the ball as the writing obscures it. Cheers.

Thanks for the heads up Neil, I will have a look at changing when the credits come up. I'd love to take them away completely but they work to remind people to like or subscribe and KZbin show my videos more when this happens. Appreciate you bringing this to my attention
