It's high tensile spring steel wire, probably re-used for pre-stressed concrete. Long sections of concrete (2 to 3 metres long X 60cm wide) are frequently seen in the under-flooring of domestic structures in S.E. Asia, which are pre-stressed with such wire. Once those slabs are installed onto the main concrete bearers, a further layer of reinforced concrete is then poured into each room. Finally a tiled or timber floor is installed. It's very strong, and my house has survived an earthquake in Myanmar 🇲🇲 several hundred kilometres distant, which shook trees and structures alarmingly for many seconds.

Why not melting it instead and start from cero it seems to me that is lot of work and many people involved meaning you pay more than what you earned !!!! But admire you are doing an excellent job and you invented many machines you are amazing inventor wow🫢🤫

The unregulated high temperatures resulting from such methods will render the high tensile spring steel wire incapable of doing its future (repurposed) job of reinforcing pre-stressed concrete in a reliable manner.
