i tore up 3 pairs of mechanics gloves. most i got out of one of them was about 6 months. im a trucker and i move freight on and off my rig, heavy equipment, mechanical stuff ect. im a firm beleiver in buying things one time so these might be the ticket going to try them out thanks!

Yeah I’ll tear up a pair of mechanix gloves in a few hours of firewood loading. The bark will test any glove. They are among the worst. Good luck with your pair. I firmly believe in the stuff I recommend

I used these for gardening, wood stacking, chainsaw work and clearing out fields, weeds, junk trees. Lasted me six years, however, I ran into a bunch of poison ivy, removed it. These gloves protected my hands but above my wrists got nailed. Have to get rid of them b/c I dont' know if they really can be washed and I don't want to take a chance.

In Oct I stuck my index finger into a leaf blower impeller. An old green 10 amp one. I borrowed from a friend. The bottom guard screen was not on it, and left the blower intake exposed. In only 15 seconds of operation I needed to switch hands and placed my hand underneath. To support the maneuver, It began slicing the finger Would have almost took it off if not hard old plastic and by the time (.02sec) it hit my 1st knuckle from 4000 to 7000 rpm it went free spinning because I sheared off the old 13 plastic blades when it hit the knuckle bone. Off to emergency! Thump thump thump. My wife drove as I clenched it in a washrag. I was on a ladder getting leaves out of gutter, I did it for < 3'feet. And Last Month I was at 17' with a 15' pole saw cutting a branch 30 feet up with a hairy scalpel blade arc type of about 13" taped on the end.. Like a silky but more aggressive teeth for pruning, I felt I could drop the saw to the ground. The butt end was just near my knee. I pushed it away let go! And guess what the blade +12 feet above me hits a branch spins and seem like it is gonna hit my face/head. I throw my bare hand out to re-grab the descending pole and I start to grab just as the blade slices into my index and adjacent long finger. ARRGH. Blood appears and again a quick clenching fist clamp, again 'caught red handed' as I descend the ladder and wince. All because I don't wear gloves or helmet or face shield. Yes I am saving so much money not hiring a guy who does it. I have plenty of rope now and even pulleys, I just do not have Yard Q. IQ for dangerous guy who ended up in hospital or got killed at home saving money and working alone. At 70 the endurance and strength are < than safe.

Wow it's only been 7 months... i ordered a pair of these gloves and I've been using them at work for the last 2 months and they have almost completely worn out. The middle fingers have both worn out the palms have multiple holes. I just ordered myself a new pair of gloves, trying the timberland pro out.

I suspect the term "Bullwhip Leather" is just marketing puffery. The website says goatskin. Interesting review. I buy the $15 gloves fro the hardware store and I go through them maybe two pair each season. I'll try a pair.

@@hnzyelad You're welcome bro. I just bought some 'HydraHyde Leather Multipurpose Gloves' from Lowe's. They've been great but it's only been 2-3 weeks of work so only time will tell. Let me know if you find some great gloves over time and I'll do the same!
