I had my doubts about this for two reasons, is the bar made of quality and will my door frame hold up. I finally took the plunge and I am 100% pleased with it. I'm 160lbs, this bar works perfect for someone my size. I'd imagine it would do the same for someone heavier for sure since it hardly budged on me. My home was built in the mid 70's, I didn't even hear a creak or crack which surprised me. Given its price and build quality, I'd vouch for this bar.

Is it just me, or are those dips too shallow to do anything? I just got one and like it for pull ups, and push-ups, but I don’t think it’s good for dips

Katya K you could definitely do that. I personally just use chairs or almost anything with a lifted platform.

"Squeeze the back muscles once you reach the top position" great, but first I need to somehow find a way to get to the top position

Is the pullup bar also good for your grip, bcs i have a thick pullup bar and i wannq know if this is also good for your grip

I've never used mine for anything but pull ups using the "ears", for which it's brilliant. But the thin steel, and square bolts, and rotational force, is guaranteed to open up the holes and make the whole thing wobbly.

You got your bolts kn wrong. Theres no reason its wobbky turn your washers around
