Leave half to a liter of water outside overnight. Avoid the fridge. It will be easier to drink that water in the morning and you won't damage your throat by drinking water directly from the fridge.

I drink toilet water. It trains my intestines to always be then high alert and lubricates my butthole with a steady stream of violent diarrhea. Keep a container nearby to capture and re-attempt in case of vomiting.

I tried leaving the water* outside but found the local foxes, stray cats and dogs, etc would always drink it... Therefore, I started leaving the water in a bottle next to my bed - so no flies, spiders, etc climbed in🙂😉 *LITRE

I really like this simplified morning routine or ritual. Recently I have been going back to college classes and they are taking all in person. Since I didn't want to take more time practicing mobility or active stretching I really like to thank you guys for making this video. But honestly I also like to thank Art of Manliness for his tip in endorsing cold water first thing in the morning.

Years ago, in a yoga class, the teacher mentioned that all the stretching and exercise you need for the day can be achieved by doing 10 sun salutations (in succession) every morning. Your morning stretch reminds me of this. I will work it into my morning routine.

I can personally vouch for the mobility program. I purchased it a few months ago and have seen steady improvement in recovering from my own training and fixing some of the niggles I was dealing with prior to starting the program. Even if you are not into training it's worth while for feeling good/better on a day to day basis.

Good and simple morning routine. im a believe that waking up in the morning just starts your day so much better, and this is coming from someone who wasn't a "morning person" nor do i feel great or spring out of bed when i still wake up every morning. It's about just practicing these every day. Eventually you will receive the benefits of doing these things every morning.

Glad you mentioned skipping breakfast too. Definitely beneficial depending on your age and situation. People who are overweight should likely skip breakfast to continue to fast but if you're still young and in great shape, no need to, in my opinion. One size does not fit all of course. Great video.

I started adding overhead reaches to my stretches and it has made a huge difference. Adds more of a complete body stretch and flexibility.

Important note: You can bend your legs in downward dog as much as you like, but try to keep your back straight. This is a great exercise for stretching lower back. I had lower back pains, but since I started doing these stretches and supermans EVERY day - it went away. Not very quickly though, it took around 3 months, but it kept getting better, and nowadays I have almost zero lower back pain. Funny thing though, I was kind of experimenting with what feels good by myself and came almost to the same conclusion as in the video lol.

Your advices have led to the most effective exercises I have ever done (and most excruciating), but results speak for themselves. I did calisthenics and bodyweight exercises mostly, but I have found these extra tips of yours for these types of exercises to be far more effective and satisfying to me personally than any painful occasions before that in the gym. In the process I took a muscle gain plan from Nextlevel Diet, and without any additional supplements needed, my muscles started to grow massively over the last three months. Thank you for all the work you have done over the years.

I like the overall approach. I've been drinking water for years first thing and have noticed the benefit to my day. when i don't drink it first thing, I notice the difference. Yoga postures I agree with. You take a light, to the point approach to the subject and don't make it seem so hard. Well done. Andrew

If you have lower back stiffness in the morning, pull both of your knees to your chest and hold for 30 seconds before you get out of bed. This stretch will save you!

Thank you so much for this simple yet tremendously beneficial routine. It has improved my mood and physical well-being ever since. I just have a question: is it OK to switch no. 1 and no. 2? Like I accidentally did the deep squat and downward-dog-to-cobra pose first then drank water second?

I have had two knee replacements and a series of health problems that have reduced my mobility and overall feelings of well-being. This simple plan looks like a great way for me to get back to as much flexibility and strength as I can gain at my age. (65) Thank's for a well done and inspiring video! It may not seem like much to those who are in better health than me, but the journey of a thousand miles begins... you know the rest. Thanks again!

It seems that most of the people who saw this video do different things when they wake up and I was among them...I have followed the videos instructions for 2 weeks and nowadays I just smile proudly at how much better I feel...try it and you will remember me but if you are not going to do so at least dont downgrade it with negative comments...dont discourage people just because you dont want to change your daily routine!!

Θοδωρής Μετζέλος don’t take people too seriously... sometimes peope way crazy stuff but that doesn’t mean they won’t try it. I have a sense of humor as well but I’m an early riser and think this is a great video but I chuckled at the comments.. Not that serious... I'm enrolled in the courses and have been working on my squat with lots of room for mobility improvement compared to El. One thing I must remain mindful of is keeping my knees spread apart to avoid injuring them. Please explain what's different about these moves that allow rolling the knees inward without stressing them.

When you are ready, we are going to turn it up a notch. Improve your squat and deep knee bend game. Try and get from one side of the cucumber patch, to the other without looking shocked.

This video is a bit of bullshit, he needs to keep uploading stuff. Actually some of the exercises that he does here everyday, he does not recommend to do them every day in his mobility program. Like the deep squat archer. I guess any exercise that helps the blood circulating throughout all your body will make the same effect.

@@tititiwon Breathwork also does wonders for blood circulation. Look for "Healing though Breath' 10 day series -- the green series. Super useful.

@@tititiwon He is not showing the deep squat only for blood circulation nor will it have the same effect like any other exercise. The deep squat, not the compound exercise but the deep holding position that was shown in the video, is the functional base, or should've been the functional base, for standing, walking and running. If your heels can't touch the ground in a deep squat, your walking and running form will always be impaired, even if you don't notice it. All joints are meant to be used in their maximum full range of motion to lubricate the joints and provide them with nutrients, which he also mentioned in the video. And this is the case for your ankle, knee and hip joints if you can manage to do the deep squat and hold it as long as you want to. It also '''resets'' your body, since you're never staying symmetrical on your feet when you stand upright. Everyone has a standing leg and a free leg that experience different levels of stress and pressure. If you stay in the deep squat this is not the case because the pressure is evenly distributed between both legs.

Love this king thank U 🙏🏾 Wondering though if a person is truly working on their health properly they should NOT be sleeping 8hours per night much less more than 8hours?! Proper energy from correct diet, exercise and meditation/yoga should allow us all to function on 4-6hours of sleep perfectly. Thanks again bless up.

I do a 5 minute stretch routine while lying in bed before getting up. It is amazing how much better I feel after that compared to when I just get up without doing it. Huge difference! Great channel by the way!
