My absolute favorite 'The Last of Us' short film. ALL the actors that played the characters were fantastic. They looked and sounded like their character. And bravo for Jeff Moffitt. I swear he is the real Joel lol. Amazing job IHCP. You really did a wonderful job on this production. I enjoy watching this series every time. The landscapes are beautiful, the actors are professional, and this short film never gets boring. Keep up the great work, and good luck with your future projects!

Haha. Your director certainly does. But seriously, well done! All of you. I personally enjoyed this because I'm finishing up my film animation and directing majors. So, not to sound cheesy, but these short films are one of my many inspirations. It's nice to see, and interact with, genuine actors who put in the effort and time to justifiably represent characters like Ellie, Joel, and Bill. Absolutely amazing work, I am so glad I stumbled upon these films. Gave me the same nostalgia as playing the game. Not to mention the casting for Joel, Ellie, and Bill, all were perfect for the part. Also liked the added part right at the end about teaching Ellie to swim, gave the ending a lighter tone. Again, I'm so impressed!

This is brilliant. Ever since hearing the news that the actual The Last of Us film is shelved, I've been craving a substitute. This is better than I could have ever hoped for. Everything about it... there's no words. You capture the game perfectly. This is an absolutely wonderful production. :D I could sing praises about this for hours, but one thing I had to mention was Ellie's actress. Whoever ends up playing Ellie in the actual movie (if it ever gets made) will have a seriously hard time living up to the standard she set here. Ellie is a tough role to grasp, but she really captured her. Brilliant performance. :)

Karnalsyn Well, that's the only thing that's happened in the game...so...they don't have anywhere else to go with it. Yea they added and took away some crucial parts, but overall, they pretty much wrapped it up according to the game.

Sharp and utterly engaging, as were the previous two entries. I love seeing the inner lives of Ellie and Joel being revealed in small ways. Joel is a kind of post-apocalyptic Jack Bauer; he's hard, but not impenetrable. In Jeff Moffitt's portrayal, there's still a glimmer of humanity. Kudos.

Well done! The series is truly impressive. Its not at all like those movies who show off so many special effects as though trying to cover up bad acting. The actors could fit nicely in even universal studios in my opinion, they are that good. And I love how you changed the story up some, making it unique. Even when you probably didnt have certain props (I keep thinking that some things couldnt be put into the film, possibly because of location or something), or what not, you still made up for it with the seamless story line that seriously suprised me. This is how a fan-made movie on anything should be like. Again, Well done!

Honestly, I've watched this more than a few times now since I found it last year, and I don't really remember if i posted anything before but here it is if I haven't. Really love the fan film. This is how it looks when you get it right, which I could say about all the stuff you guys do. I really like the little additions you guys did that wasn't in the game as well. The Cordyceps mutation guy was a pretty awesome idea. That's something you could go in a few different directions with.

This is seriously one of the best fan films I have ever seen. The amount of work put into this series has been phenomenal and the effects, story and acting have all been superb. I am absolutely obsessed with the game and what I think to be the best storyline of any game I've ever played. Since I've been in love with the game, I wish I was able to donate to Iron Horse Cinema Productions during the filming of this series as I never knew these were made until after the fact. WONDERFUL JOB with the twist on the ending! I was sure you'd end it on Ellie's "OK", but that extra scene bathing-ending was absolute! Other things I'd like to give you feedback on (which is something I said in part 2 as well) is that the audio for the different characters' voices are very unstable, and sometimes not even hearable. Having to constantly turn up and down on the volume is something I consider a minor issue compared to the overrall quality, but I just thought I should let you know, in case you need some viewer feedback. The only thing I have a problem I have with, is the actress for Ellie was a little too old to be right age for game Ellie, but despite that, she captured everything about her nicely. i give you a 10/10 on cast choice, most of the characters are spot on. another 10/10 on environment and photo work, way professional for a fan film, the places chosen are a win-win. but acting wise its another story, the actors lack emotion in their performances, specially Marlene. She sounds kinda detached from her own speech, like she doesnt believe what she's talking about and just rehearsing the dialogues. As if each thought glides in her head for a while before reaching the next(my opinion OFC) and so her expresions and speech feel disconnected. on another note, how you feel about the announcement of a last of us film adaptation?
