If you want more life out of your bushings and ball joints, in addition to strength, the 2020+ Outback [Wilderness] front control arms bolt right up without modification. I made the discovery last year, and many have followed suit since. They fit 2019+ Foresters as well. Their part numbers are 20202AN02A and 20202AN03A.

Hey thank you! Much appreciated.

You're welcome. If you're also wondering, they already come with ball joints, so there is no need for ordering them separately.

Great to see your son and the Crosstrek going strong. Zippy is still good around 50k. The Bronco gets more attention since our move to SC. Looking forward to new car reveal. Cheers!

Thank you. My son is loving it. From what I have seen so far it makes life much easier off road than when I was driving it. :).

Which coilovers did he go with? They have medium or heavy load (spec-c), or you can mix them (front-back).
@AZdroptop7 ай бұрын
He went with the Medium spec.

Thanks for the review ! How many miles after lift install ? Would you think the same issues with a 1" or 1.5" lift ?
@AZdroptop3 ай бұрын
If it were my car still I would not have gone with the 2" lift and would have stuck with LP aventure products, but it was my son's call. I have not done a video on it yet, but his rear shocks are leaking after just a few months and he has been off road twice. It will be interesting to see what Ironman does about it. I would guess anytime you manipulate a stock vehicle you will have possible wear issues, but I feel like 1.5 is the sweet spot.

Hey! I’d love to know some recommendations for places to take my Crosstrek off road in Tucson. I’m considering the Ironman kit as well (not quite in my budget yet), I’m definitely sold on it for a Tucsonan!

Redington is a great place to start as it is a simple dirt road to get to know the car. You can take it all the way around from Tanque Verde to Benson or up the Back side of mount Lemmon. There are also trails you can try along the way. If you are stock I would stick to the main road for then first trip. There are tons of roads down south as well off of Sahuarita road between Houghton and Sonoita Hwy. Also Madera Canyon road off of Sonoita Hwy is another good one.

Look though my Crosstrek videos for some idea of what the roads are like.

Where does your son go off-roading? I’m at the badlands every now and again… not to far from Illinois.
@AZdroptop10 ай бұрын
We are in Arizona.

@@AZdroptop My bad, thought your son was in Illinois for school.

No worries. Good memory. He was just there for a year. Back in Tucson now.

Two weeks ago I went for a hike up mt Cheam, to get to the base is very challenging for crossovers, their was a Subaru that made multiple attempts but just couldn’t make it, it would be cool if Subaru made an off road buggy, small, lightweight, efficient and a full skid plate, and the real deal with no stickers and actual selectable lockers… im dreaming
@AZdroptop10 ай бұрын
That would be cool, especially a locker....would make a big difference for sure.
