Good Luck Harry, I hope you have an incredible race... Look forward to seeing you fly around the course, I'll be there with all the other age groupers (behind you! lol). Good luck everyone, hope you all have a great race. For those doing IM 70.3 Swansea for the first time, you'll love it! It's a great race with an amazing atmosphere!!

Hi guys, Need help badly. New to cycling. 6 months training, but there are some weeks I can't get training due to life and other commitments. Did my first triathlon a few Weeks ago, Olympic distance. I've a big problem where by 30kms in, I'm feeling completly out of energy. Legs have no energy, and I feel like I'd love to slump onto the handlebars. It's not that I'm going too fast ( I'm reaching 20kmh in distance) Today, this happened at around the 28- 30km mark. For breakfast, I had a big bowl of porridge with a banana thrown into it. Also before that, I had two small pancakes, with butter and jam. While on the bike, I had water with orange juice through it. Why am I hitting the wall so early?? Its not that I'm underfuelled, I'm not dehydrated either. I'm 6ft 2 @ 100kg, so I know my weight right now isn't ideal for cycling, but surely I shouldn't be bonking this soon. Any advice or tips ??

Professional athlete uses language like "cannot be bothered to change" and "lost bolts not fixed". Im constantly staggered by your attitude. No wonder its taken so long for a win. Chances of another win, slim...

Wow……a bit harsh give a man a break he’s not like the top pros who actually have full time mechanics and full bike sponsorship looking after their bikes and just hand them over fully serviced with about 5 spare bikes in there garage. If he can train on it as it is what’s the problem he’ll get it sorted before the next race……..less criticism more support for these young chasepack guys trying to make a living

I’d agree and that’s a fair comment. Anyone looking for sponsorship needs a suitable image.
