I did Weymouth 70.3 in 2018. It was a terrible weather with lots of rain in race morning, we had to wait for the officials to declare the swim would be cut in half because of the conditions. It was grim. Well done on your race!

Ahhh yeah not fun! Well done for completing it though! I think getting through conditions like that is pretty mental

Love the videos!! And the process!! What I would love to see in the videos more is more details of the race, description of the swim, how u felt what place you came out, the bike what was your nutrition plan! Did it work or not, the run, how did it go, what place and how u plan strategies and post race feelings thanks , love the tricks!

Thanks mate! That’s a great suggestion and one I’ll definitely be applying to future videos. Maybe just a simple video about what I do on race day with regards to nutrition etc

Power meter or not, you'll kill it mate in Lanzarote mate. I've enjoyed your videos a lot over the past year as I'm only starting out in my own triathlon journey. I have found most all of your videos insightful and a big help. I have recommended them to a lot of triathlon mates here in Germany. All the best for your last race of the season and take a rest before you smash winter training.

hey Harry cool videos but I am going to be honest the music montages went on for too long and got a bit boring. Would love to know more about the race maybe instead of music swap it for a voice over of how your race went. I know that its a hard balance to keep the videos exciting and informative without becoming repetitive and boring but practice makes perfect. Keep it up though love following you guys and good luck in Lanzarote!
@Harry-Palmer5 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for being honest Jonty. I’ve got to be honest too and say I felt the same. Like you say it’s practice makes perfect so I’ve just got to keep developing. The next few vids I’ve done in Lanza are short and snappy so hopefully a bit more exciting and engaging🙂 I’ve not done a voice over before so that’s definitely something to think about rather than these long periods of no talking. Thank you 🙏

How did you manage :40/100m on the swim? That's absolutely insane. There must have been something wrong with the timing or your course was cut short
@Harry-Palmer5 жыл бұрын
Ahha good observation! The course was cut short annoyingly. The conditions were absolutely fine for a full swim as well. Lots of people saying it was down to poor organisation rather than swim conditions

Hello, I think about doing an ironman in 2021, in August or September. I have been training swimming for 10 years, and I’ve been competing in aquathlon for one year, and than went back to pro swimming. Do you think that is better do do Ironman 70.3 before full ironman. For exeperience and everything else...?
@Harry-Palmer4 жыл бұрын
Hi! Sounds like you have some really good experience. I would say 70.3 before full is a good idea- maybe even consider some shorter distances before that to build up
@gasperzizek76704 жыл бұрын
Harry Palmer thank you for your advice. I like your videos very much. If I will be in some dilemma I will text you.
