Him and his coach are perfectly in sync. That first scramble was wild, he wanted to be in that position. Allowed him on the leg, I knew the match was gonna be fire after seeing that.

The other kid looked huge. People think it's stalling on bottom, when Bo is just such a heavy technical rider.
@rhigel22694 ай бұрын
Plus Bo went parallel on the ride, when the Ohio kid started to get up each time, meaning the official could have called stalling on Bo, if he stayed parallel to long. However, there was no stalling by either wrestler after the Ohio kid got warned for backing up twice on the edge of the mat in the neutral position.

@@rhigel2269 Yes, the other thing is sometime a guy like Bo or Desanto just wears you out and it looks like stalling, but your just gassed.

I think this is a great strategy for long-term development, not worrying about cutting weight. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think there was a clear strength difference, as evident in the early tie-up when Bo seemingly could not get out of the other guy’s tie. Of course, the other guy is an Ironman finalist, a good wrestler also

How is that not back pts at 4:10? Absolutely beautiful wrestling Bo. You can tell he wanted to come in and put hands on you but everyone has a plan until they feel Bo’s pressure. Great defense and way to keep fighting when he got to your legs. This kid is no joke and Bassett dismantled him. #Future4xNCAAChamp

Nobody was in control, that is also why they went back up to a neutral position

@@jf8138 In college, that would’ve back points. These high school refs are trying their best but they missed several calls in Super32s and Ironmans. And hey, I’m not saying I could do better. These kids are so talented these days it’s hard to keep up with the technical scrambling. You gotta be position to see these things and it’s a very difficult and thankless job. Mad respect to all my refs out there.

Because there was no two second count. Lets count. One thousand one, one thousand two. Glad that you are not a referee.

The eyes will trick you in the sport of wrestling. Muscle looks different when it's powerful, flexible, and has endurance all at the same time.

Bo looks like a late bloomer, the man strength will come.
@Fellhat7 ай бұрын
Trust me, he is strong as hell and trains daily. More than likely he does calisthenics instead of weightlifting, which is vastly more ideal for wrestling. Calisthenics won't build size, but it will build more true strength and endurance than weightlifting, and that is better for wrestling because the ratio of strength to weight is significantly improved

Bo needs to teach that other popular KZbinr in division 2 how to ride. That’s how it’s done even without back points. Why is the pic so bad? Maybe it’s my phone setting, but it looked like a 1980s match. 🤷♂️
