35 year Olds wrestling kindergarten wrestlers. We as Americans do not have 3rd world issues yet. We wrestle because we enjoy the sport and understand we can play baseball, basketball, soccer and football and fish if we so choose. Some countries you're born at birth to do what we want you to do. We still have allot of fucken freedom. Wrestling is purely still and will always be a great sport to me.

I always get annoyed with the assumption that just because someone had folkstyle success it means they'll be good at freestyle or greco. Ashnault is a great example of that fallacy. His success in folkstyle has never translated over to freestyle. Him not being seeded ahead of Bassett should tell you all you need to know about how good Ashnault is or isn't in freestyle.

I wrestled in HS in PA from 1979-82, and we won championships every year. But NO ONE was ever at this level???? This is phenomenal. I guess kids are doing wrestling clubs when they are in 1st or 2nd grade. We didn't start until 7th grade but often wrestled throughout the entire year except for football season. I NEVER would have thought that a High School kid could kick a NCAA champion's ass. (I didn't like freestyle as much as scholastic for obvious reasons.) Basssett must be thinking, "Bring on Mars!" 1.5 Light years is the same as 1.5 years. Light year is a distance measurement, not a time measurement. So you could have just said totaled 1.5 years. Also Pluto is only a few hours away at lightspeed. Any man made opject takes about a decade to get there. So you would have had to be gone for 20 years if you went to pluto and back... the video is 10 mins, fast forward thru the blood time.
