8 years ago in 2013 this was my go-to video for motivation during my training for my first full IM distance. Now its 2021 and I’ve done 3 full IM distances. I’m thankfull for the opportunity, for the memories and the glory. I miss 2013.

I quit triathlon 20yrs ago , just entered a sprint race with a sea swim. Got three months to get fit , sitting here with a few beers getting motivated lol

It was a great day....had my best IM time...just under 10 hours. The overcast situation on the run was great....must have been 84 degrees or cooler on the run. Not too much wind except by Hawi. The swim sucked as the paddleboarders made it so bunched up at the beginning. Thought I was going to drown (and I am a pretty good swimmer). But it was a great day to do Kona. Love this video. Great day for Rinny and Macca
