Hololive management definitely moved the "How Yabai Can I Be?" dial up a notch with Advent's debut. Remember how seiso HoloEN debuted with Myth and Council? They took some time growing into comfortable yabs. Advent's like, skip the honeymoon, get right into it.

Don't think so. Pre-2021, Hololive was already casually stepping over the line with KZbin and that caused several talents being striked and even shadow-banned. Mel, Choco, and Aki were the usual victims. They had no choice but to dial down the yabai or risk getting demonetized because they were relatively small at the time. HoloMyth and Council came into that tip-toeing era where their channels could age-restricted and slow down their progress if YT finds them too much. Now that they've grown large enough that KZbin can't simply shadowban them (as YT would also lose money), they are more free to do yabai stuff. Advent had their senpais to thank for that and they sure capitalized on the opportunity. You could say the senpais should also be more open with how they talk but I guess they're comfortable with their personas and would be weird for them, let's say Ina, Gura, Mumei, or Fauna, to start being yabai all of the sudden. The JPs however, someone from each gen/group has always been yabai. Matsuri, Choco, Okayu, Marine, (Coco), Nene (?), Koyori+Chloe.
