Actually that's a good point. She started speaking in a higher voice because it caused less strain on her damaged vocal cords. That probably means lower ranges have extra strain on her

Over the last few years she's been slowly recovering her voice. This one song is a great example of her progress. At first she could barely do half the song and it took a lot from her. There's one point where she did almost the entire thing, but sang the very last part in her normal voice. And one day, she was finally able to do the song from start to finish. Many tears that day. When you think her lung condition was so bad that she lost her voice entirely for a year, it's absolutely insane that she managed to recover so much. She's absolutely crazy. Her amazing force of will to keep pushing through is a beautiful example that we should never give up on our dreams.

@@autohmae Well technically it her normal voice, while the sickness does make her voice abit higher, it was already naturally higher and less strain on her vocal cord. People with naturally high pitch voice have a harder make deeper voice and it will strain their voice the same as we trying to do high pitch. Mouse wanted to be a Opera singer at one point so she very good at controlling her pitch (also come with her natural talents). The best way to see it is that someone "natural" voice is the voice they spoken the most because it comfortable.

I had a singing teacher who used to preform all the time until she got throat cancer, she can still talk but can’t sing anymore. I felt so sorry for her. Seeing that Mousey can still sing, and her health slightly improving makes me so happy. I can’t imagine loosing my voice, and I’d be devastated if Mousey did as well. I don't know if this could ever happen but I would absolutely love for Mousey to collab with Sora from Hololive. They debuted a month apart with Mousey being in early August and Sora officially being early Sept. I hadn't seen the Shakira one before and holy cheesecake eating Christ. You can tell that she's missing parts of her lower register still, but it's so much better than it was even a year ago. It's incredible what time and dedicated effort can do. That, and money for really good medical care; never forget the team of doctors and nurses behind the scenes that helped her get here.
