​@potato_3-ql7ri I forget the actual name, but basically her immune system is non-existent. She got a lung infection that messed her up bad. She has to stay in her house now. But she went from bedridden and unable to sit up, to walking around and doing, well this. It's a really inspiring story.

@potato_3-ql7ri it's called common variable immunodeficiency (or CVID), and someone mentioned that her immune system is non-existent-- she technically *does* have an immune system, but it doesn't work as it should. it's more that *her body doesn't make the proper amount of antibodies*, maybe even none at all, required to fight against infections and illness.

Yeah, her not being able to mocap her own movements is understandable. It's her voice, and while she has to have a stand in for her body, she got to choose that body, and hire someone she trusts to animate it. It's no different than hiring a cel shaded animator to draw her. And the model is beautiful. It really captures who she is. Which is ironic since it's an avatar. 😂

Like yes this may not be feasible for everyone with disabilities or chronic illness but look at the reception if you hope to express yourself in a similar way, like it won’t just be you in a niche.
