Hey Doug, this wasn't designed as a critter guard so we wouldn't suggest it for that use case (if that is all you are looking for). There are third-party solutions out there worth looking into. We may have more information in the future though, so stay tuned!

Do these have a wind rating?

Hey Daniel, you can find the installation manual on our website for more info but there are no wind speed restrictions and Contour can handle up to 90 psf ground snow load. Thanks for checking in!

Do you have a solar skirt that works on a flat roof install? I had Tesla put in our system, but the flat roof panels don't have any skirting.

Hey there! Contour can be attached to pretty much any solar panel, if the flange thickness is 1-3.5mm and the usable flange length is 0-33mm. You can check with your local distributor to confirm parts.

@@IronRidgeSolar Who is the local distributor for Las Vegas? I would like to purchase a kit and install. Do you have any that are deeper? Because my solar was installed on a flat roof, it's elevated more than the other panels that Tesla trimmed out already. So there will be a pretty big gap between them and the roof, hoping to reduce that gap.

@@oasisoflasvegas You can check with the local Greentech Renewables. Contour only comes in one size and, although it is designed mostly for Flush Mount applications, it can be attached to almost any module frame. Thanks for checking in. Your local distributor should have more info.

Looks good but reduce air circulation, cooler panels are more efficient.

Thanks for the feedback, Dex. We understand there are various aspects to consider when installing solar trim. We also recommend leaving it off the sides facing the roof ridge to allow for ventilation. Installers are frequently asked by certain homeowners for an option such as this.
