To make Chia Pudding:
2 tablespoons of chia seeds (black or white)
.5 cup plant milk
1 tablespoon maple syrup or sweetener of your choice
.5 teaspoon vanilla
Mix all together and refrigerate for 4+ hours. Mix again 30 minutes into refrigeration to combat clumpiness.
This recipe doubles, tripes and even quadruples very well. Store in the refrigerator for 5-7 days.
Black Forest Chia Pudding:
I layered chia pudding with fresh cherry puree. Then topped with cacao nibs and cherries.
Harvest Spice Chia Pudding:
To 1/2 cup of chia pudding I added .25 teaspoon of cinnamon and a pinch of cardamom and mixed well. I layered that will chopped fresh orange slices and then yogurt and more orange. I topped it with pistachios.
Strawberry Dream Chia Pudding:
I layered with strawberry puree, then chia pudding, then yogurt mixed with strawberry puree. I topped with chopped strawberries. Lemon zest would be nice on top as well.
Banana Cream Chia Pudding:
In a blending cup I added yogurt, banana and chia pudding. After pouring into a cup, I added banana slices, melted chocolate drizzle and chopped walnuts.
