I had one call me in November, he said I owed $5897, from 2009-2015, I am on SSDI unless I make over $25,000 in a year. I make nowhere near that amount. But, as per IRS and SSA, SSDI is not taxable unless its over $25K, I do not have to file any Federal or state taxes my income is not taxable. I've been on SSDI since 1998, Last time I filed was in 1999 when they were giving everyone a tax rebate of $250 but you needed to file a return even though my income is non Taxable. I played along with him for about two hours I had been transferred 5 different times to 5 different people I live in the boonies in Northern North CA near the OR border, the nearest store that sells those cards is about 75 miles away in Medford, OR, plus I told him I did not have a cell phone because it does not work out where I live. then he threatened me to get arrested, the nearest State Police are located almost two-hour drive away. the county sheriff is even farther away. I said to him I have to call my cousin who just so happens to be the Assistant Deputy Director of the FBI in San Fransisco (not really I just looked up his name.) I thought he was going to S#@tT in his pants. he was cursing me left and right. he even tried to threaten me with getting the US Citizen Services after me. they are located only in foreign countries at US Embassies.
