Really great interview about a great run in what sounds like an incredible experience for Jim. Congratulations!

It is the first one from his everything. Jimbo will win and set records in almost all ultras nowadays. This is history in making. He evolved & learned so much from the past mistakes. Such a huge talent!!

Bryon Powell: You're not going to run this 14:30 and then be like, 'I'm going to come back next year and run 14:10.' Jim Walmsley: Depends on the weather. Bryon Powell: Like mid-80s for weather next year. Jim Walmsley: Yeah, I'll take a crack at it again. *Weather in 2019 is mid-80s and Walmsley runs **14:09** and change* These guys are dialed in when it comes to ultra performance speculation.

Congrats Jim - and a nice interview Bryon. And I can't wait to see what Jim does at TNF50. Sounds like the new Drymax/Mafate combination might be good for Swimrun...

with out the bears he would have been UNDER 14:30 ! I think Tim Olsen planted those bears there...trying to stop the record from being broken. Major Congrats to Jim.

Juusto Wish we knew for sure...but I think we can at least take some comfort away from the fact that he lives with the cowboys...so it would probably need to be a conspiracy among all the cowboys which makes it quite a bit less likely. It’s nothing like a TDF team.
@justjustjoo6 жыл бұрын
Stephen Otto I don't think he dopes. As i said, it was a joke.
@PaDutchRunner6 жыл бұрын
We really don't know for sure whether anyone dopes or not. The only thing we really know is that the incentive to dope in ultra trail scene is far higher now than it once was, so it would be naive to believe that no one is doping.
@ambientnstuff54566 жыл бұрын
First. Also - Jim now that you've dominated the Ultra scene, lace up and qualify for the trials on the road.
