He seems wiser and more … I guess “enlightened “ is the word that comes to mind. Such an inspiring person!

Like many other comments, Jim just seems more comfortable being Jim now vs earlier interviews where he seemed to struggle with what he thought people wanted him to be. Meghan does a great job of letting the conversation flow vs many mainstream sports interviewers that have their list of questions that must be asked often to the detriment of the interview. With hindsight it does seem that the injury prevented him from overtraining and his best run was on the day that mattered. The WSER legend grows. Can’t wait for UTMB.

So proud of him...What would it be like to run like Jim for a day? I wish him many days of feeling good and staying healthy while flying on his feet. Great Job Jim...say HI to the cowboys! Take care all.

Well earned victory. Best of luck at the UTMB. As much as I would like to see you win the race, I like the fact that the europeans has been able to keep the U.S. runners off the top of the podium.

I don’t know how people perform in that kind of heat. Anything over 70 degrees Fahrenheit and sunny for me and I don’t perform my best. Hat off to this guy x 1,000,000

I love Megan’s interviews, especially with Jim. She’s almost like his therapist at the end, like, “Jim, take it easy now, enjoy yourself man”.

That was a great interview. Thanks. The finish line stuff is a nice gesture, but there is just too much going on in the background for me to watch any longer than the time it takes to be reminded that there is too much going on in the background.

Traditionally, we interview both the men's and women's podium finishers as well as one additional bonus man and woman from the top ten who we've never interviewed... or at least haven't in quite a long time. - Bryon
@alexcrossley79993 жыл бұрын
@@iRunFarMedia thanks for the reply. I just imagined it would have made for an interesting interview considering the race he ran, it being his first wser, first 100 miler, bombed out hard and still finished strong. Was just interested to hear what he had to say about his race. Great work on the coverage! Looking forward to next year
