Thanks for the coverage IrunFar. Look at that background, just like a painting. I need to visit Chamonix asap.

Paulo Pinto I was thinking the same thing...how did they hang that huge painted canvas behind the kids playing soccer? 😁

Nice chat. I really think Jim has learned a lot in the past two years. Fantastic WS win, but if I’m honest it’s still Kilian for the win here and hopefully Jim second. My first CCC so I’m super excited.

I notice that I press "like" before the video started rolling, ha ha. Anyway, what a nice photographic wallpaper Meghan came up with for this interview. ;-)

Great interview Meghan and Jim!! Go gettem' Jim !!!! We leave to drive my daughter to college from CO to the Boston area the day your race starts; so I'll only be able to get updates during pit stops.I look forward to seeing either of you in the San Juans one of these days on either a training visit, or at Hardrock.

Man,I think Jim has got this thing dialed.I think he has worked the kinks out enough that he will be strong enough to cover moves if Killian or the others make any.He may be just run off the front the whole way.I don't think he will wait for them like last year if he gets out in front.Its gonna be good no matter what happens!

Thanks for the coverage you do of alot of races, iRunFar. But don´t laugh off Jim giving height information in meters. You do have an international audience that appreciates metric units. Thank you!
@iRunFarMedia6 жыл бұрын
Goodness, I'm sorry you think I was laughing off Jim's unit conversions, but I wasn't at all! :-) I appreciate those conversions as much as many others. The main thing I was thinking/reaction to at that moment in the interview was feeling aghast about his training volume, simply because I know very well the effects of the rough country and high altitude of where he was training. Thanks for watching. -Meghan

Don´t be! I just wanted to state that mentioning metric is worth it. Looking forward to the feed this weekend.

"mon blan" drop the "t" and "k' sound .... I'm french and while running the WR 50 couple weeks back , I was asked if I had ran the "monte blank " ... monte What ??? took me a minutes to realize the miss pronunciation... we can do it with jalapenos, so let's make an do ieffort not butchering french ... :)
@augustodiemecke17996 жыл бұрын
With must respect to the pronunciation for French, English, or other language , think carefully, everyone has an accent, perhaps you butcher other languages, the important aspect is try to learn it, and do your best, by the way it is Jalapeños and not jalapenos, just saying

Love seeing a French person putting prototypical French people stereo types on display....who in the world sets aside time to express displeasure about something so petty. It's much easier to highlight all the harmony and respect between so many wide ranging cultures.
