Live about 10 minutes from that lake and fished it for years, used to kayak into areas boats could no longer go and stock up on lost Rapalas in shad and fire tiger. Sometimes find a submerged anchor line just loaded with lures people had snagged and lost trolling. Water level got so low was wondering if there were still big catfish and carp in it, even more so was wondering if Nesse and Nelly were still in there or they moved them when the lake closed.

I used to drive up to west shore with my car and BBQ. it was like more then 30yrs ago. I didnt know now you have to walk down there....

Yes, I'm pretty sure you can keep the fish but most people release carp since they don't eat them

Good video. Really productive lake from the bank. Must be loaded with hungry fish! So I've only carp fished 1 time..do you use a circle hook? Thanks in advance. 👊

HOOK JAW HUNTERS HJH C Since carp have really small mouth’s I was using #6 mosquito hooks. But circle hooks should work too (just get the smaller sizes)

Anthony Esposito A British guy was carp fishing there a couple months back; his smallest one was just under 10 lbs; his largest over 20lbs
