The city is starting discussions on and all city/suburb bike trail. Moved here from Chicago and I’d say Irving is nice. It was the diversity that drew me here above other areas and it is diverse. It’s quiet, family friendly, affordable and in a great location.

Depends what part Irving area I live in south,mid,nroth area Irving over 50 years crime higher than reported . My parents house been burgars 3xs, my house 1xs truck stolended in front house,my cafe burgress ,gaffie,my wife robbed at Irving mall , I been hijack my motor cycle,My wife house tooked over by contractor police do not do nothing we had evict him he was traspassing after letting go.He did over $25,000 damage took almost 2 years get him out.

The people in these comments are being too harsh, I have no idea where they live in Irving but here in Irving where I am it is very peaceful, quiet. In my families 30 year history in this city, we have not been robbed, or had any experience with crime. It is very clean, all the schools are extremely well. I am proud to have graduated from Uplift Infinity High School located in Irving, I am going to college soon. The schools have extremely high quality teachers. The only downside is the very warm summers, this year reaching over 100+ in Fahrenheit. But it is also Texas. There are also many hospitals nearby, which is always a big plus. I am giving my honest opinion on this city. I am extremely happy my family moved here before I was born.

There are also many entertainment centres, stadiums. In fact, AT&T stadiums will be holding a 2026 World Cup Match.

It is also very child friendly, over my 18 years living in Irving I have seen many people move into Irving because they wanted to start a family here. The city here is also very diverse. My parents are from South Korea and I was born here in Irving after they moved from Korea. This place is so diversity friendly that we even a Korean Church that me and my family go to. Irving is a very good city to live in.

Me and my friends about a week went looking for some food, but instead we could not decide at all the groups selling food. The people bring their food from their homeland over to Irving. We ended up eating Mongolian food that we found. It was extremely tasty.
