Note that the Line-Level has to be centered between the two points to be accurate.

You didn't mention that if you push in on the reel mechanism it releases the line so you can use it as a plumb bob

Same here! Just bought it... not sure what I'm doing wrong. Edit: I used the little hook on the end of the string, stuck it in the two ltitle notches, and just pulled on it. came down.
