@@Souledex It's literally true though. They admitted as much that they do it on certain older models. One I namely remember, because my sister had one herself, is with her iPhone SE. When I was visiting her and her family, we went to an Apple store to get it "fixed" because it was noticeably slower compared to a year before (at least according to her). The clerk there told us that for older models, they released an update where, because the battery is aging and is more liable to deplete faster, the phone intentionally slows down its performance at a certain threshold so that it won't run through the battery as fast. They didn't call it as it is, but basically, so as long as your phone gets older, it's guaranteed to get slower, though it all still depends on how the battery is, and the usage, of course. So yeah, Apple is full of shit, because that iPhone was barely two years old and didn't need that update AT ALL.

So I asked for the iPhone as my iPod touch had a set up I preferred to Android 4.0.3 with HTC SENSE 4.0. Now I have apps that I like which are only on the apple ecosystem so just sticking to it.

I'm also curious what launcher you use. I use KISS Launcher to get the same effect. Ridiculously light weight, simple, and lets me enjoy my wallpapers fully. And it still has some neat features, like being able to search through your phone book or apps.

If you want your phone to work with other products, it unfortunately does matter. Apple makes it miserable to try and use their phones with non Apple other things. Want to transfer files between an Android and PC? Plug it in, fire up file explorer, and just click and drag. iPhone? Good luck figuring out which workaround is the right one for the specific thing you're trying to do. If you're lucky it will just take a bit of screwing around with iTunes. Also, apparently, iPhone's default video player app is now Apple TV. So not only are you paying more for a worse product, they shove advertising in your face like no Android ever has - and I use Samsung.

Huh? As a former Iphone User, Android is a much better and friendly user experience than the clunky and sometimes confusing IOS, as even the Chinese OS are based on Android.
