Where were you yesterday!!! I got an emergency job that needed rotoscoping out a singer in 3 videos that needed to be done in 2 hours for a bridal shower. I could only get two done and they were rush jobs. I was embarrassed to present them. I think the person who asked me is mad at the less than perfect results, lol. This would have been a life saver.

just wanna come back to this vid and thank you for recommending this website. Had trouble trying to key out some shiny reflective metal drum cymbals that were shot on a green screen. Tried doing rotoscope the manual way and it didnt work out too well and was gonna take forever. Tried out the free version of RunwayML and can't believe the results were better than what I could pull off manually and managed to do it in literally less than 10mins (not including the export time). This is gonna be such a game changer!

Thanks for a nice video. Until now I've never heard about Runway. I do have a little trouble with it though. It seems it doesn't want to let me manipulate the timeline clip. In fact, I can't even really see the clip (Though this may be because the opening shot is all black?). Still, I can't seems to locate the clip in the timeline at all, even though I've been editing it for green screen for quite a while, so I know it's there. But I can't drag it, right click or anything else? It's like it nowhere? Which means when I export I have to export the whole clip (and not just the edited part)

I wish there was an A.I. vfx tool that helped with the rotoscoping of the background with the moving subject. So that way it doesn't look like a still background with moving subjects.

I have this really complicated clip that was difficult in after effects but so easy in this program althogh its not pure magic it needs some corrections and the adding and subtracting tools cant be used accurately so take that to mind while using it I would recommend to make a generaly good clip that doesn't subtract from the outlines of the object and put a little more care into it in after effects

Hey! It has been so far. It's free to export out SD footage. HD footage costs a monthly rate. There are different tiers with different perks. I pay for the $33 dollar tier that unlocks 4K exports I believe.

Things we agreed when we working in vfx shot is to have ai do the work for us, because its really time consuming and there is no point at all spending that much time frame per frame just tweaking the mask
