Hello my Whoop friends! Yes, these are the same racetracks as in my 85mm 2S video which you can see here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/on-4hZKwn7V1h68
I also flew these tracks with 1S on the same day (more precisely with my 75mm 1S Whoop with the Xing 1002 22k motors) and found that even on these larger indoor tracks 75mm and 80mm 1S Whoops with preheated Lipos (to 40 degrees celcius | and only then! | GNB 1S HV 380mah 90C and GNB HV 450mah 80C) are at least as fast as 2S and are even easier to fly. And so that everyone can see, I uploaded this video (and more in the future). As usual, I share all my findings with you😊
Stay tuned for more! I will also continue to experiment with 2S. And 1S too of course😊
Happy whoopin my friends! Whoop whoop!🥳

That's interesting with heating the packs...

True! And that could also be an advantage for you in the street league. But since the street league is all about simplicity, perhaps the rules should state that you are not allowed to preheat the lipos..

FIRST!!!, great video my friend.. Question: have you tried any Fractal 65 or 75 frames? i bet somebody like you would really benefit from the stiff frame performance . any ways stay safe my friend

Thank you my friend!🤜🤛 alway nice to see you here🤙Together we go full send!🤟 A stiff frame is nice to have, but on my flying level every micro gramm of weight counts.. This is why I don`t fly fractal frames in general.. I once flew the Spezilicious65 with a carbon frame. It flew nicely but was far too heavy. (in this case also because of my external receiver). I'll try a fractal in the future. But actually I already know that it won't do anything for me.. But I think I just have to do it to get it done 🙂

@@butterflyfpv i built a fractal 65 with Diamand f4 aio, HM 702 28000Kv motors, all soldered up with the A30 and it came in at 18.4g, its tuff as hell to. 💪

Amazing! For indoor fly those 65mm or 75mm is it good to cut throttle or do some other changes to fly "easier", "calmer" for beginner( the apartment feels way smaller than it is when fly). Wonder how to do those precise moves and quick sharp and smooth at the same time turns/spins. Can something help in settings or only pure fly-time? Thank you for your opinion!

Yes you can use Throttle Cut Scale, Throttle MID, and Throttle Expo (up to 80%) to adjust the throttle. I do that too!* But you definitely have to pay attention to one thing: adjust the throttle so that the hoverpoint is where you like it (I like it at 40-50% throttle). And then fly the new settings for at least 100 Lipos to get used to it. And only then try new settings again. It is very important to give the brain time to get used to it. Constantly changing settings doesn't help. For your second question: No, unfortunately that's just practice. And that you fly at rates that are not too high so that you have full control. In my case it is BF Rates, 800 degrees per second on all axes, no expo. However, many racers like even lower rates, for example between 540 and 700 degrees per second. (However, I don't like such low rates) You have to find rates that you feel comfortable with. And then leave it like that for a long time and practice, practice, practice... *(As an example example, on my new 80mm 1102 18000kV I have throttle Cut Scale set to 60%, Throttle MID set to 0, and Throttle Expo set to 60% for indoor flying. This is the only way I can fly these high kV motors well and therefore have super power and extremely good flight control/stability because the motors have enough power to do what the flight controller tells them to do.) I hope this helps! Have a good day my friend! Whoop whoop!

@@butterflyfpv Thanks for the detailed explanation. Would like to discuss some more with you if you have time. My settings are: roll, pitch, yaw - 670(stock) Throttle mid and expo are not with % in my betaflight(or I read it wrong). It says MID - 0.50 and EXPO - 0.50. (no idea where I like it as you said, cuz lack of time to like or get used to something) Also about practicing: how many Lipos/time per day or may be per session(if few a day) is better way to approach. (how you do or suggest to do) Another question off topic if you know technical part(I guess you do :P ): I got Firefly 1.6DC and a friend plugged battery for a second reversed polarity. Slight smoke appeared. Then one of the motors start slight shake, but no spin, then another motor did the same. In ESC-configurator when I give more power(where you test motors and directions) they did spin(i guess motors are fine), but then they didn't spin anymore, but show some life. I tried to reflash the firmware - didn't help. (by the way what is best option for firmware to flash on this drone, cuz there are many options?). The other motors spin fine and react properly to throttle, VTX and controller RX are working fine. Would it be ESC burned out? Or maybe something else? What would be steps to fix it? Could you give me some suggestions pls?

@@Braincho Yes sorry i mean throttle mid 0 (0.0) and expo 0.6 | Six Lipos Practice per day is fine. The more the better :-) | I Reverse polarity is not good. Can`t be repaired without deeper knowledge of micro electronics. I think an esc is damaged or another part on your board. You need to buy a new one. | Betaflight 4.3 or 4.4 should be fine I think.

@@butterflyfpv Wow, that was quick respond. I had better look over the drone , and saw there are 3 micro components where motor wires attach to the board and the middle of them has some sign of burn I think( on both not working arms ). Can those components be replaced or the entire board should be? If so Its AIO Flywoo with a VTX built in and they are out of stocks now. I must wait for stock or I can be done with some other brand board? Will it fit the rest of the parts(frame, motors, elrs) ? I see people do micros from scratch - attaching different parts, but I don't have the knowledge if parts fits/work together. If you can suggest to replace the AIO with VTX board with some other and use the rest of components. Forgot to ask about my(stock) rates - should leave it like this?

@@Braincho Basically you can usually use any whoop aio board. But I would recommend you first find a real life whoop friend who can help you. Otherwise it's too difficult. And it's too complicated with me over the internet. Find someone in your area who can help you. The good thing about it: You can then go flying together :-) And if you have enough money, I would recommend you buy the drone again. At some point you will need other parts of it anyway. Believe me :-)
