The one I built didn’t have as much flash as that but the fuel drums had big gaps same as yours. I struggled with the tow cables so I just left them off.

@@Reynik77777777777777 It might be that the moulds are wearing out, that can happen depending on the type of mould and how much its been used.

ah about those towing cables, you are meant to kind bend them down and hook them onto the tow hooks on the bottom of the hull

Sorry I forgot to respond sooner! I checked the instructions and you are correct. There is a very vague arrow placement that matches your description. Without you pointing it out, I would not have worked it out, and none of the images in the instructions show the cables fitted. The images on the website do show them in place, although it is again quite vague. Thanks for pointing it out.
