i really dont know what you mean, you lack the understanding of how APHE works.. after it penetrates certain amount of armor, it fuzes, that activated the delay and then explodes. The tracks are like 20mm which is enough to fuze it and since there was a long way between the impact and armor, it just simply exploded.

The amount of bombs and aircraft you can tank with this is awesome. The best part of the USSR tree at that BR are the 12.7 or 14.2mm MG on top, they are way better than the entire previous AA vehicles in that tree

The IS-4 can still rule the battlefield, i angle it at a very slight angle and bounce even leo 1's heatfs. In RB, it's a bit tricky because CAS is annoying as usual, but in AB, it can be a king.

@@Gathwar_ With the IS-4M? Very slight angling. Just enough to not show the driver's viewport perfectly flat to the enemy, but not too much, otherwise the shoulder plates of the hull become weak. Nevdr stay still if you need to reload to make it difficult for the enemy to aim. When engaging a group of enemies, shoot the enemy that is the biggest threat to you. For example, between a king tiger and a leo 1, shoot the leo because it's easier for you to pen AND because the leo has HEATFS which has more chance to pen you. If you are alone, don't push too aggresively, otherwise you might get surrounded and the enemies will eventually kill you. If you have a buddy with a tank with the russian 122mm, stick together and watch each other's backs. When one reloads, the other is ready to shoot anyone pushing. It can also work well if you stick together with a tank like a BMP-1. The IS-4M can act as a shield and the BMP-1 can act as the high damage dealer. If you are forced to push and are alone, always make sure you stick near cover and always have a fall back plan in case enemies start to surround you.
