I feel like Razorkin Needlehead is pretty bad against Izzet Pheonix. It very easily dies to 1 mana removal spells on their turn when they're "going off". The big thing about Sheoldred is that she's much harder to actually remove efficiently for many decks particularly without black or white removal that doesn't care about toughness. You're essentially just giving Izzet Pheonix an easier target to use removal on compared to Sheodred specifically requiring Lightning Axe to remove. All the while Sheodred gaining life can be a huge factor in slowing down those opposing decks as well, particularly combined with Sheoldred potentially being a massive deathtouch wall against aggressive decks without flying.

I knew the moment I saw it spoiled that Leyline of Resonance or "that leyline" as it's referred to in this video was gonna be a mistake. The first thing I did was add it to my legacy deck list to help solidify and stabilize my turn 1 win. I've been working on the deck for a while but it's always required a ton of luck to get it's theoretical turn one win, then Cacophony Scamp was printed who allowed me to count regular damage as I would have counted infect, the MDFC bolt lands made it so I couldn't miss a Blazing Shoal or Fury of the Horde due to not having red cards to exile, and now this thing makes it so my slightly weaker haste enabler in Samut's Sprint is more viable. It does the same thing in modern, though to a lesser degree since it's harder to get 2 red mana turn 1 in modern with no lotus petals or spirit guides, but if you begin with Leyline of Resonance in play you can cast Pact of the Titan -> Reckless Charge it which gets doubled by the Leyline -> sac the titan to a Thud, which gives us 20 damage the moment we have 2 red. Cacophony Scamp does the same thing of course with the thud built in but requires another pump spell (or second leyline) as input to get him to 10. I wouldn't be surprised if Leyline of Resonance caught a ban in at least some format.

Enduring Innocence I believe will see play too. for 3 mana its not removed by temporay lockdown and linger in the battlefield after the supreme veredict. very good to not lose gas against control decks.

My friend and I made some limited decks and I went B/W with Ghostly Dancers, Sheltered by Ghosts, Optimistic Scavenger, rooms, and some 2 drops. I was surprised with how synergistic it was, I might make a Pioneer deck with them.

Interesting card. Banishes your opponents card, but makes it easier to remove it. I feel like most _”exile until”_ cards hit your Commander, then you immediately move it back to your Command Zone.

I don't know if the Light Paws deck would also run auras like Feather of Flight or Sentinel's Mark. These auras have Flash, meaning you can fetch a protective aura for Light Paws in response to a potential removal spell, or using them before your turn. These auras also have useful keywords for the attack phase, namely Flying for Feather of Flight, and Vigilance (+ temporary Lifelink if the addendum ability comes in play) for Sentinel's Mark respectively. One last Flash Aura to highlight is Fae Flight, which gives temporary hexproof for the enchanted creature on ETB, and gives the same benefits as Feather of Flight.

In most MTG formats you can have up to 4 for copies of a card in your library. Imagine you had 4 copies of All that Glitters and 4 copies of Sheltered by Ghosts in your library. Since Since Light-Paws can put a copy of Sheltered by Ghosts into play from your library, it's almost like you have 8 copies of Sheltered by Ghosts in the library I described above. (There are 8 cards in the library that will result in having Sheltered by Ghosts on the battlefield when you play them while you control Light-Paws) This is also a reasonably common way of describing a situation where you have 4 of a certain card in your deck and a similar card is released in a new set: you might say that now you have 8 copies of the first card to describe what adding the second card does to your deck

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, we’ve gone from power creep to power leap. Duskmourne is scaring me, but not with the 80’s schlock aesthetic… I’m a little disappointed that they didn’t go all in on actual horror themes. I love stuff like Evil Dead and Ghostbusters, but they could’ve at least advertised it that way instead of getting me excited for something else.
