I have an FSE250E, I love this bike and my friends with more expensive bikes are scratching their heads as to why they spent so much. The time invested by Gary and crew at GPX has resulted in a quality affordable bike! I did a lot of research before buying and am very happy with my choice.

@@EastsideTrue To be honest I don't remember the context of my comment at all. There isn't anything very controversial in Jim's statement. Other than people who spend big bucks on KTM's etc tend to be rabid fanboi's who are unlikely to be perplexed as to why they spent so much vs some chinese no name machine. KTM/Husq Beta riders sneer at Yamaha. He's happy with his decision and feels he got good value for money, sure I believe that. His exclusive brand snob buds all wish they had third tier Chinese mystery bikes? Naah, not believing that part.

@@percussion44 yes , yes they are. I have been racing/riding for over 40 yrs i have owned everything from an 85 CR250 (one of the best mx bikes ever made) to a 96 KTM 250EXC woods bike of that year to an 86 XR250, So it is not like I do not know what I am talking about. the bike has so much quality stuff, all my riding buddies were blown away. more billet alum parts than any bike I have ever owned stock.

I love my GPX 250 two stroke. I did lots of research before I bought mine. Take a good look ! Name brand bikes cost so much more and appear to have same parts.China supplies parts for major brands BMW. KTM Husqvarna. Assembled in there plants. The quality is the same as far as I can tell👍

I decided last year to start off-roading again after 30 years away....I'll spare you the long story, I ended up choosing a 2019 Pitster Pro XTR250 T4 to get re-started on. I've tortured this bike...First learning the skills I needed, then pushing into harder and harder terrain. From being completely drowned in mud(twice) during the first race i tried, to some hard get-offs on ice, rocks and whatever else took me out, to kissing a tree, to multiple tip overs on that hill I just couldn't get up, even doing a sweet aerial ballet and landing upside down off a vertical I misjudged the bike has taken it all and keeps on going. I do regular maintenance to the engine, spokes and chain and replaced the few parts that (I) broke. The only problem the bike had I didn't cause was a frozen turn signal switch, which GPX Moto replaced under warranty. I'm ready upgrade and I can't see going to anything else but one of my XTR's big brothers; the GPX Moto TSE250R or FSE250R.

You got it right, that Chinese made stigma, it scares a lot of people away, as of right now risk takers are the ones buying these. I say that Becuase if someone wants a cheap bike you can get one used for cheaper than these. I have been trying myself to get passed this stigma, and from the research I have done GPX is making quality bikes, like he said, for the average rider. Any bike will break down when racing, but if your racing you want the name brands anyway right? GPX has gotton a lot of attention after letting everide review the fse250r, honestly a pretty brave thing to do with how honest he is, and how he let Gabe do his worst to it. They actually gave a positive review, no one saw it coming. I didn’t not going to lie, everyone was impressed. And I have not heard a single owner complain about these bikes, not one. I myself have deeply considered buying one, waiting for that 450. Only thing that worries me is making these street legal, in North Carolina, I heard it can be a pain especially with chinese dirt bikes. Still have more research to do. If i buy the 450 i want to make it into a very lightweight ADV bike, I’ve found compatible passenger foot pegs, racks, really everything. I liked the honesty in this video.
@gpxmotousa44164 жыл бұрын
thanks for the comment! I like to hear the reasons people hesitate. Getting the bikes street legal is a case by case issue. I have both the FSE and TSE models legal here in UT. It depends on the department and the person at the counter. I hope you get a GPX bike. They truly are great bikes. 450 is expected to be available early spring. Take care!

I bought a PitsterPro LXR250f a couple years ago and had no problem getting it registered & plated in NC. I went to a big state-operated NCDMV office in Charlotte & was prepared to be turned away, but it went fine. If they had turned me away in Charlotte I planned to go to the subcontracted DMV office in Boone. They have always been very easy to work with in the past. I'm looking forward to trying a GPX 450 too. :)

This thing has me really interested i love the fact the tse250r engine has an auto oil mixer and is very similar to the yamaha dt 230 and 200 engines that is no longer being made. I wonder do they offer parts like rings and pistons for rebuilds? or even cylinder heads?

I'm seriously considering getting the TSE250R or FSE250R after I finish paying my WR250R off. The only concern I have is the lack of a kick-start on the TSE. Does Pitster Pro/GPX make one?
