It doesn't hurt It goes in a inch The tearing is a natural reaction. Itll happen period It doesn't hit the back of anything There's no after-pain feeling Youll survive. Update: the metal swab goes in a little deeper. A bit more uncomfortable, but not bad still. Stay safe.

Hurts like a mf….had to get the same done with influenza testing and never again. I only allowed a rapid short tip done for swab. That’s how much pain I was in.

I walk in on a covid testing to see if I can get a test done. The waited for like 25 minutes the one thing the made me walk out without getting tested is seeing the amount of employees not changing their gloves while swabing the next person.

to be honest it alll depends on who is doing it for you. I just had a PCR/Swab test done and it was so uncomfortable and made my eyes teary and gave me an awful cough afterwards. Several people, including my 8 year old niece, I know have done it and it was so easy and un-noticiable. The tech who did it for me seemed to hate her job and was so rude. So no matter what others says, really it all depends on who is doing it on you.

This PCR test is inaccurate! The head of patient SHOULDN’T be placed in hyperextention position !! His chin should be in natural position to the ground !

I’ve had 2. The first one was uncomfortable but tolerable. The second one was excruciatingly painful, I was crying my eyes out like a five-year-old. My legs were kicking and I couldn’t control them, I kept yanking my head back because it hurt so bad. I honestly don’t think that she did it right because I read that it wasn’t supposed to be excruciating.

I had it today to flee to a less tyrannical country outside of Europe before new total lock down this winter, hurts like hell even 8 hours after and totally useless for detecting any viral infection like Kary Mullis said on video, you can detect pretty much anything depending on how many amplification are performed, conveniently he died in 2019 just before the covid scam started. Welcome to 1984 and it's just the beginning. Good luck to all those performing those test thinking they are actually helping people, truth always come out soon or later.

Unpopular opinion: it is painful IF the nurse or the health staff who put Swab kit in your nose isn't properly trained. I had my first time PCR Covid Test ever and it was painful, not that painful and not that mildly uncomfortable either. I knew it would be painful, so that's why I've been avoiding this Covid Test for so long and I had to do my first Covid Test few hours ago because I had no choice.

My test was twice this long and extremely painful. Then when he was done he had to do it again, in the other nostril. My sinuses were raw the rest of the day and sore the next day. It has nothing to do with pain tolerance. I’ve had lip injections and this was worse. It all depends on the application. He also said that I have tiny nasal passages. That might have something to do with how painful it was.

Blood tests are surology tests, which test for antibodies only, as in you have had COVID in the past, not presently, as in active COVID.
