No Use nothing will happen. Stem cells therapy is not FDA approved n in many cases cancer too is reported. I am a very long time Type 1 Diabetic from Mumbai. Google Norway Australia have developed a smart insulin tablet chocolate insulin human Clinical Trials will be done in 2025 n within 2-3 years it will be available everywhere.

I am a very long time Type 1 Diabetic from Mumbai, cause of My T1D Vitamin D deficiency and Chicken Pox Virus. Vitamin D deficiency triggers Autoimmunity. Adult onset Type 1 Diabetic are also happening. Till date I don't have any problems. Just inject insulin as per doctors consultation then slowly slowly U will understand the idea n finally when he grows up he will manage it himself. All the best.

From what you mentioned your HbA1c of 6.8 % indicates fairly good control. If you are well controlled with tablets, don’t worry about insulin for the present. We can think about it later if your sugar goes out of control. However, remember that there are many other newer medicines which have come and hence, you may not need insulin at all.
