He eats vegetables and meat and do lot of exercise. Even small quantity of rice spikes up his sugar level. But now a days his creatinine is getting high. Sir my 3 years son having Type 1 diabetes and the doctor gave him Lantus insuline 4 unit in morning and Novorapid 3 time a day, morning 3 unit noon 4 unit and night 3 unit. Before insuline my son was having sugar level 350 + and after giving one week of insulin at evening and night time he having sugar level around 100 and sometimes below 100 but in morning and noon it's around 200. If the sugar level always remain around 100 . The insuline unit and 4 time a day remain same whole life or it will change ?

Sir, I am now 23 and I was diagnosed diabetic at 20 with HbA1c 6.8. I was around 80-85kg when I diagnosed but after my diagnosis is suddenly started loosing my weight and I was around 60-65kg after 6 month. I didn't start medicine for last 3 year and my HbA1c was normal but recently when I checked up my C-peptide level is 0.56 nmol/L and GAD65 antibody test is negative. Doctor say it may LADA and give insulin glargine 10 unit per day. Sir, as GAD65 test is -ve can we call it autoimmune disease. ??

Sir there are many companies and other institutions, and their goal is to find a cure for type 1 diabetes, am a young I don't fear from diabetes and diagnosed two months ago but when I search on utube and Facebook my heart cry in tears that this disease affects mostly little childrens who don't even know what is life , childhood is gona impact by disease in a very negative way I want why don't a pledge be taken to eradicate this disease as a whole from humanity , I really thank banting ans best who invented insulin but since a scientists got happy and feel that now it's ok take rest treatment come and now 100 years after no cure still .it raises many questions on us

Does type 1 always have compromised WBC count?? Disturbing to see it in the range of 3,500 as it is a cancerous symptoms. I was diagnosed as T2 at the age of 28 and two yrs back, after my own research did C peptide and noted that it is type 1 (it was just 0.20). GAD was also positive. Stopped tablets and continuing insulin and with CGM, low carb, regular exercises brought A1C from 13 to 6 with very very minimal low events n d range of 60's. Thanks to Dr. Bernstein channel🙏Now consistently, it is in d range of 6-6.50 and videos like dis keep us moving ahead..need your inputs on WBC..
