Looks good, can't think of a better way to connect the modules than the technic pins and bricks (first method), i only have ideas for modules another version of the crane module having a set of wheels might be good, it would allow you to make 8x8 Crane trucks which is quite common, but i can tell that's hard with the scale, it would have to be a bit longer a Sideboard trailer might make a good module (and being able to put the crane module behind it too) you could also make a module for just the rear of a truck (1 or 2 axles or even a long 3 axle one for heavy haulage) with a 5th wheel that will let you attach trailers. a module for logging (to carry cut trees) also welcome back after more than 2 years lol

Thanks. I'll look into those module ideas. I'm still fleshing out details of the system (like the crane module with wheels vs having a integrated cab with wheels) but I'll have to try that.

Cool idea! I have designed a modular system for my ambulances. It makes future designs easier! Oh also, LOVE that you are using Linux (KDE is an awesome DE) what distro?

That's the idea of the modular system. I'm currently running the Plasma desktop on OpenSUSE Tumbleweed on both my desktop and my laptop. I've ran Linux on and off during the last several years. I've also tried Plasma on other distros, along with different DEs such as Gnome and Cinnamon.
