I do office work and uses the mouse for very long hours. Often my wrist and fingers would get really hurt using a regular mouse. So after purchasing this several months ago, my hand doesn't hurt anymore. How i use it, i keep the pen in its holder and use it on top of a regular mouse pad so it will move smoothly as a regular mouse would. And keeping it in its holder while using will keep the pen steady and balanced the whole time.

I agree with your review of this pen mouse. A year ago I bought the exact same pocket mouse you have now reviewed in hopes that it would be better than using a mouse to draw with. I play various games with a close group of friends for three and a half hours each Friday. Some of the games require drawing and most of my friends have drawing tablets, Wacoms and make beautiful art. I had only a wireless mouse and had trouble making the most simple designs, but I could not afford a tablet. This pocket mouse seemed like it would at least be an improvement, but I was wrong. It is terrible! Bigger is not always better. It is more than twice the size of a Wacom pen and because of the extremely awkward placement of the buttons, you have to hold it in a twisted position in your hand. This puts your gripping fingers on the smooth plastic sides that slope towards the point requiring you to squeeze with twice the force just to hold it tight enough so it doesn't slip when you use your other fingers to press the buttons. (This is painful torture after a minute or two, requiring me to relax my grip to relieve the pain.) To press the button on the left side of the mouse pen, you have to reposition your thumb which you are using to hold the pen. Doing fine work it very hard. If you were using a regular pen, you would be able to move the pen quite a bit without moving your hand/wrist to a new position. This pen mouse is so fat, most of the area where you could normally flex your fingers to do fine work is taken up with the body of the pen mouse, so you must lift or move your entire hand to another position because your range of motion is so limited by the diameter of the pen mouse. If it had a better gripping surface to hold it. If the buttons and wheel were repositioned. If the thing didn't make you feel like you were attempting to draw with a greased paper towel roller, it might be better. The only good point is now when I play with my friends and draw with it, they all get a great laugh and save copies to post to Discord because it looks like a pre-k child drew it. I truly hate it and feel deceived by the advertising used to sell it. I paid $10.00 for it and IMHO it is not worth 10 cents. Wacom has some good starter tablets for under $80. I suggest purchasing one if you can afford it.

Have u try moving the pen with the pen stand yet?The experience has improved. At first I thought it was just a stand when u not using the pen.

For drawing and writing u should reduce mouse speed in settings. It will increase accuracy much better. And there are other models that have left button on the end of pen. It activates by pressing it down like Pen&Mouse Dolphin pen mouse. That is much better

But in the beginning it would be hard a bit... reduce sensivity and remember that if you have resolution that horizontal side much bigger than vertical then cursor will be moved more by horizontal even if you move hand a bit. I mean if you move hand left or right one inch cursor will draw line longer than you move one inch up or down... it moves proportionaly by resolution sides

*I AM GOING TO USE IT FOR DRAWING* No, it's not a stylus. But it *is* better than a mouse for drawing, of course. I am not a pro artist. But I am constantly sketching ideas. And I *have* done a ton of art *with a mouse.* This will be easier than that. The responsiveness isn't because of the form factor. It comes down to the quality of the engineered product. It could be cheap choices made for the RF link (I would bet on a wired pen mouse having a tighter link but I haven't seen any). It's possible this *could* be a great product category for casual artists but no quality exists in the market.

First I hated the purchase then started thinking and miracle happened. Use a foam mat and on top of it folded in two Bolonia raincoat thin fabric!! Fabric helps to friction!!

i am using it and find that it helpful. You should customize its speed anh DPI to your need. Using it release my pain in hand of traditional mouse. I use it all the time , in CAD and gaming also. The disadvantage is that it is lack of wheel click and back and forward button. Hope that they will do it in future, or some Brands such as Logitech will make a really good one for us.

i just opened it and used it with Photoshop. While I don't draw I do a lot of needing to match layer edges which may be what this is designed for... I do websites and business cards so I must have exact edges meaning if I am justifying 2 layers with one another it has to be precise or if i need to erase edges pulling a subject out of a photo and for that it was ideal. Have not figured out how to use the dpi yet but I am like 15 minutes in....

No you would need a stylus for that. A pen mouse is only marginally more accurate than a regular mouse for handwriting
