I’ve been listening to Abraham hicks for the last seven years eight years she’s legit and has helped me a lot with her teachings. I am very grateful it’s been a long, dark night of the soul will say several years of dark Knight of the soul but I’m getting through it and without her I probably wouldn’t be here.

I haven’t listened in a while though. I think as we grow we move on sometimes to others that have something else that may help us along our journey. Thank you for your messages!!

I feel as though I have always been on this spiritual journey, but didn't know the extent until now at 54. There have been several watershed moments in this journey. Reading the Celestine Prophecy in the 90s. Finding Eckhart Tolle in the 2000s, and Esther/Abraham was a big one. Next Level Soul is a more recent one! And @johnofnew ! Dear John, I wonder if you could tell us your thoughts about Seth, who was channeled through Jane Roberts, as if I remember correctly, that’s where Esther had started. I thank you for all that you share with us and I know you receive quite a lot of messages and emails, but I thought that people will benefit from my request. Thank you so much John for giving your insight and opinion of Esther Hicks. I am trying to find the right words to explain how listening to you has literally brought me "full circle" to my present being. You just explained so much on the subject of "channeling" and how I have come to experience many who channel over the years. You just bring the seemingly complexity of metaphysics or whatever one chooses to call it to the simple beauty of it ALL!!!! You brought to light how our steps along the spiritual path can be enriched or helped tremendously by books we read or people we listen to who channel etc., but how amazing it is when one can just BE with ONEself! So grateful for the ONEness of you John. Blessings, love and light!

I was interested in your "take" on Abraham, as I've been to several Abraham Hicks events over the years. 30 years ago, I was in a meditation group in which we discussed matters of spirit, Abraham being a biggie. I love Abraham information, as it gives great tools for those who embrace those tools. Her (or their) vernacular has evolved over the years, along with the dropping of the accent. She is (they are) the real deal--- great information to get to love (by going up the vibrational scale). That's what the journey is about--- feeling the love ❤! It's just that being in these bodies with these brains and languages and symbols to use as tools to get to a feeling place of our origins, the oneness of being, can be a tricky business, moment to moment. How fun to have so many tools in the toolbox with which to resonate, and then maybe not anymore. Fun fun fun! Could talk about this stuff all day, but then my dishes would never be done. 😅

I also had the good fortune to see Esther Hicks on stage. All of the teachers that I’ve watched or listened to basically say the same thing, but their terminology may be different or the combination of words they used mixed it up and were just the right ones that turned the light bulb on for me and gave me that ah ha moment. I think the variety helps me to grasp a concept and really integrate it within my knowing. I consider whatever resonates and feels right to me in that moment is what I needed to hear.

I have learnt a lot from "Abraham" Esther's channeling has had a profound effect. I'll always be grateful for the teachings. The only thing that doesnt sit comfortably is the emphasis on money that many take as a response to the teachings. There is so much more to the teachings. Good to have your review, Jon. I've been through a mediumship class to catch up on what's the go with others. As a reader I've channeled and so on, but noticed that others presenting do step into a "personality" and use more formal language. I've wondered why. I feel the presentation of mediumship and psychic work is more seamless now (since table rappings, plasma , proofs and all that) and not so "pompous" or authority sounding. Trouble is when I'm giving a message as my natural self, people are assuming it's just advice from me, though there are proofs. Others don't take it that way necessarily, but maybe it's something I have to work on. Maybe it's my own confidence. :) And, having an inquisitive mind is a good thing for sure. Thanks again.

Thank you John ... and Namaste to all you brilliant Lights ... if something resonates with you (strikes a true pure chord) that is good ... follow or practice that. If you find something else that resonates with you ... that is good ... follow or practice that. If you find something else that does not resonate with you ... that is good ... because that is a pointer for you and an opportunity for you to grow (or expand) This has been my experience. And as you say, John ... " it's all very simple " . I wanted to clarify something you said about Abraham. It was Ester who gave the name Abraham to the Non Physical (those energy forms don't call themselves by a name) .... Also, I personally don't resonate with the Vortex term either, but I understand that is how Ester perceives it ... and that is good. Long before I ever heard of Abraham Hicks I had my own interpretation of what Ester calls the vortex. And when I sit in stillness thinking about my "perception" of the Vortex, I am in the Light and with the Light ... and that is good. 💗💗🙏🙏

@@suzanneemerson2625 Thank you 🙏 I see where it is written in the book "Ask and it is Given" . Also I seem to recall an interview Ester had with Oprah many years later where she said (paraphrasing) that the Non Physical group presented the name "Abraham" to Ester, (which was Ester's concept of a wise all-knowing figure) ... because they understood clearly what name Ester would comfortably accept and relate to. And of course that name has taken root. So in essence, one could say, it was Ester who named the Non Physical beings ... food for thought ... blessings to you.

It is an accommodation of the nervous system. If you channel for as long as Ester has; it is easily integrated into your being. Ester also expresses how "simple", how complicated we make it, and how we are perfect. Call it the vortex, unified field, the quantum field, heaven, the oneness, the multiverse, etc. it is all the same, just different verbiage.

It morphed into too much material manifesting. Listening to recent KZbin’s it’s almost like a game played now. Sad. In the beginning it was or seemed true knowledge of another step. I knew there was nothing that Esther does that I cannot do (in terms of speaking to “Abraham.” So I asked the universe for a “moment” of acknowledgment between the two of us. You have some great commentary here. Yes, stepping into Spirit from a secular perspective EsterHicks is a beautiful safe space to understand Spirit without religion. But one thing you threw in was you USED to watch but moved on. That a wonderful to hear. I have channels I will really enjoy and then I move on. Books I read embrace and then come to question. Not because it doesn't resonate, I just need to grow in perspective. Kin of Intuitive View I could watch all day and night, she feels so pure. I enjoyed Ester Hicks and Eckhert Tolle and still catch them periodically. Now I watch you because you have something to teach me, an acceptance of perspective. Your commentary and observations were clear and concise relieving the consternation I feel when I suddenly no longer resonate with someone discussing Spirit/ higher being/ Creation. Thanks John!

I love them! Their teachings have been very helpful to me, and I get such a great feeling from Esther. Jerry too, I still miss his personality in the mix. I've never agreed with any religion as a whole, or the idea of religion in general, but to me what they embody is the "best" of what a religion tries to offer, without all of the "worst". No demands or threats ..no I AM THE ONLY ONE, or YOU MUST LISTEN TO ME. I instinctively have always distrusted the ( to me) obvious control issues and manipulation of any religion I've learned about. I like that she/they encourage you to think for yourself and find your own way. And I love her sense of humor.

I agree. Yes she seemed to not need the "authority " of the accent etc. anymore. There's more confidence. Even her use of the name "Abraham" reflects her perception of an "all one" authority from a religious perspective. As an animist, the divine, or "source" or collective consciousness would never call "itself" Abraham as that's not an "old enough" of an entity name. Ancestral knowledge is far older than the Abrahamic faiths. That's not a criticism, just an observation. She is a product of her era as we all are to some degree. Great video.

I no longer look for a specific person or religious path to follow thinking that the way to spiritual growth is outside of me. I’ve come to a place where my beliefs have become simplified. I ask myself one question. Are your thoughts, words and actions in alignment with loving kindness? This includes loving kindness towards yourself as well as others. I only recently found your KZbin Channel, and I'm impressed with your insights. I guess I need to check your KZbin Video Library to see if you've done any videos on other Channelers. I would especially like to hear your 'take' on Neale Donald Walsh's "God" in his book series "Conversations with God", and also on "A Course in Miracles" which seems to thinly veil the channedled writings as coming from Jesus himself. Thank you for doing your video series.

I have to tell you this: My life changed for the better in about about 6 mos to a year ( I forget the time lime) after listening to Abraham Hicks daily. And it wasn’t even a small change. It was massive, But then I became very “ complacent” because I became very comfortable. Since then I’ve been watching real life crime videos. I just don’t have any desires beyond living a comfortable life, I suppose.

To me this sounds like a good explanation of channeling. Would that explain why so many people who so-call channel Jeshua get conflicting information? May I ask too, in your opinion is there a difference between channeling and telepathic communication with a spiritual master no longer on earth? Thank you!

@@johnofnew Much of her guidance is based on connecting with our “Inner Being”, as the larger non physical part of ourself. Likely what people refer to as the “Higher Self” using that other terminology. What’s slightly confusing to me, is the concept of having an inner being that’s non physically focussed, being who we’re to connect with during mediation (for example, Abraham is Esther’s Inner Being according to her teachings) working on our behalf. What are your thoughts between the concept of having an Inner Being/Higher Self? And how that larger non physical part of us relates to Source/God/Yada Yada?

Ester named them Abraham cause she wanted a name to use in reference. I certainly have gained vast understanding of our Soul Energies, of our potentials, and there are some points of subject that (I've come to think, due to Ester's perception, Abram is speaking to a bit of a different point that most would define the subject to actually mean, Example: Grounding. They seem to speak to this as being in our Lower Mind State, while the sense of use is more: Centered, or a Magnetic alignment, rather than "Earth Physical Focused") I appreciate the insight into the Vast Value and real design reach, of the "Universal Law of Attraction". There's much more I could speak to on this subject, I continue to listen when I feel a boost of Reminder and the info is so very available. One thing about our Earth and Human Experiences, "Variance" the Uniqueness of us and thus the messages will vary relative to this point. Best Thoughts ... Beth Tennessee, USA

This part of my journey began with Abraham and Ester Hicks. Being brought up in Christian fundamentalism, it felt almost naughty to delve into this 😂. I wonder about your thoughts on the Conversations with God series by Neale Donald Walsche. I read the three-part series a few years back, and I resonated so deeply with it that it transformed my entire belief system. It was already there, but I had been grappling with it for years, not knowing how that would show up in my journey. Once I let go of my old belief systems, I realized that I didn’t have to get rid of them, just not hold on so tightly to them that I didn’t allow for evolution or expansion. Once I allowed room for those two things, I can’t express how much I’ve grown. I had never comprehended how important my own creativity and creations are to the expansion of human consciousness until then. I finally grasped the concept of “god” and that putting god in a box that limits him to a singular, all-powerful deity limits our ability to create, making us reliant on a source outside of ourselves. That the idea that ALL of our consciousness and creativity, everything that is, is evidence of a higher power that we all contribute to. 😮It changed how I communicate with “god”, “higher self”, or whatever we are calling it nowadays. The Kingdom of Heaven truly is within.

I feel a peaceful bliss when I listen to Abraham, but at the same time my mind struggles to comprehend everything she(they)say. I was attributing it perhaps to my own incomprehension, or my inability to comprehend harder concepts, but thankfully I'm not the only one to find this mentally hard to grasp. perhaps u didn't say it or mean it in so many words, but u are implicitly implying that some aspects of her teachings may be hard to grasp, for some, if not to all. I found Abraham's teachings 5 years ago and it catapulted me into a great understanding of how our reality works and that fostering your relationship with the source within is so profound and wonderful.. I no longer really listen to the teachings much these days because as you said I've gone past that now on my journey and simply have my relationship with source now, but even still when I need a reminder of just how powerful I am I'll put on some ester/abraham. Coincidence…..No I don’t think so.😇 During a meditation, I met someone whom I felt nothing but love, bliss and appreciation for, so much so I was crying with joy. When it was suddenly over I felt an immensely sense of loneliness and separation. I wondered why anyone would want to live in this world when there was so much love and joy elsewhere. 3 years later I am feeling the desire to connect again and just finished my first meditation in a long while. I didn’t see my friend but he sent messages of joy and laughter 😂. Thanks for your time and insights.

I don't think Abraham gets stuck on their terminology, It's you that gets stuck on them. When Abraham uses the term "Vortex", they have explained that it is the vibrational "holding-place" of everything we want is. The moment we desire something, we shoot a rocket of desire off, and our Inner-Being (Source) becomes it vibrationally. They have also explained that the most importnat relationship we can have, is that with our Inner-Being, which is Source Energy. they remind us to see life through the eyes of Source, our Inner-Being, who knows what we want and the Path of Least Resistance to get there. But you've got to be in the Receptive-Mode to allow this to happen. Abraham also reminds us that WE are God. They say "You are Source Energy in a physical body, there's no separation between you and Source, except when we believe something our Inner-Being isn't on the same page of. that's what negative emotion is, when we are thinking in opposition to how our Source sees the same thing. The teachings of Abraham is the clearest information available on the planet at the moment. They have the clearest definition of Law of Attraction; "You get what you think about, whether you want it or not".
