Ajani is not as bad as Kenji made it out to be when drafting. Every time I drafted or opened it in sealed it has been great. The fact that you can sometimes play it on turn 3 while on the play before opponent has any creature out and start getting value from it is really good.

at 24:15 spend 3 mana on ajani, by paying 2 life, get menace from extra black mana from badger kicker. Ajani counters give exactly 12 damage lethall.

Unfortunately you can't use Ajani to add counters if you only spend 3 mana on him, as he only comes in with 2 loyalty.

at 56:30 you suggest you have to attack with both to win in 2 turns BUT it does not need to be both flyers on 1st attack, just one of the 2 attacks needs both, so you could keep 1 back and then be able to block the smaller creatures w/o losing the game or the flyer

I played in my locals prerelease and had Ajani. I went White Green with a splash of Black and managed to go 5-0 in the prerelease. Granted that's sealed and thus not a fair comparison, but regardless, I was surprised how much work Ajani could put in towards finishing a match.

Oh no! Missed lethal that first game lost to Meria's Outrider. You play the Ajani but pay the Phyrexian mana, go to 3 life, 3 +1+1 counters on Wurm and Sentry, play Bog Badger kicked and it's exactsies. Though if I see it and you didn't, I feel like my thinking is flawed somehow lol

If you use Phyrexian mana to pay for Ajani, he comes in with only 2 loyalty - not enough to add counters, unfortunately.
