So this is an elemental deck, with exclusively 1-ofs, that gets a bonus from playing legendary minions? Jeez, if only there was a 2 mana legendary elemental that cared about Highlander, that could bring this deck a little more up to speed with the rest of the competition!

@@purpleman0259 Arfus is tier 0, every other deck has around a 48% winrate on Donkey HS, there are no tier 1 decks. The only decks with higher winrates are cheated decks like the all fannotem deck or purified shard + elixer of vile / manastorm (spells cost health and players start with 10 mana), most cheated decks also have override drill (0 mana 100/1 attack weapon).

I really hope they do a rebalance of the format not just to fix the obvious Arfus problem, but also to buff some of the weaker heroes. It's such a fun way to play, it would be a shame to have most of the decks essentially unplayable

Crazy how awful Al'Akir's ability is compared to Arfus. Much stricter activation condition and a barely better payoff in a much worse deck

@RealityMasterRogue they don't cost mana and are about as good as an epic treasure. If they cost mana it would be worse, or if excavate rewards were free

@@electricVGC Ehhh, by my count they're more like a rare+ excavate than an epic. 2 damage instead of 3, 6 to face instead of 3 to minion + 3 to face, two 2/3s with taunt instead of actual minions and the ability to get battlecries, healing is nice but the treasure draws you a card, etc.

Horn of the Windlord is probably the single most feelsbad card in the deck, I have not ONCE felt happy about playing it even though it's supposed to be Alakir's fancy pants trumpet or whatever and thematically fits into the deck. It costs 6 mana. In what universe on turn 7 can I reasonably expect to still have a 1 drop to keep the ele chain going? In what universe am I living to play it at 6 mana at all and not dying anyway because I'm still taking 12 removing Opponent's minions?

i feel like the passive is the weakest part, like maybe its ever elemental or every other elemental draws 1 then does the brukan effect or something else but it really needs some card draw to keep up with the rest.

While not reliable, Allies and Synthesize with some of the payoffs from shaman is quite nice. It just needs a passive that does something other than further boost those few payoffs, and it could carry the odd bad card.

Does anyone else find it kind of funnythey made C'thun's effect a reskin of Sire Denathrius? I mean obviously that couldn't be Denathrius, warrior doesn't have the same Token archetypes that Druid does, but still
