As a bama fan personally I'm sick of this. Its at every school. What other businesses gets to keep one hundred percent of the profits off there customers and then the customers also have to pay that business employees or contractors? It's ridiculous, they get 70 million just from TV revenue. No telling how much from tickets and merchandise. It's time for legislation so the schools pay the players from season profits. Not the dang fans paying for them.

@RICOJEEZUS they should let the schools pay the players. Set a price that everyone gets. Put limits on the amount so every school is equal and that will make it fair for the smaller schools.

@@ARMY-ep6fz well the schools will start paying the players directly before the 2025 season starts. The court ruling is supposed to be decided in July 2025 I believe and it will spell out the details. The problem for smaller programs is that it won't even things out bc NIL collectives will still be allowed, and those dollars will still be used to pay for better talent bc those funds don't come directly from the school. So we're right back to square one if they don't outlaw collectives or create a severe luxury tax of some kind.

@RICOJEEZUS thank you for the information. I didn't know about that. That's one step in the right direction. But I agree if they don't set max payment limits then the small schools will be crushed. There should be a set max and minimum pay .

@RICOJEEZUS i believe every school should have the same rules. Right now it's based on State regulations and there are big differences State to state. Set a Max that every school can afford. Like in professional football. Some kind of salary cap.
