There’s zero pressure on Alana. This is her first year as a pro. All the pressure is on the big 3. If she happens to PB again or make top 4, that’s an accomplishment for her. She will likely be at World U20 championship though.

Alana is still a junior athlete so there shouldn’t be any pressure, this is her first year as a pro under a new program, let her just go out there and do her best and have fun! I personally think we’ll have 3 ladies running 10.7 or faster as long as the weather is good I’m looking for a world lead at trials in both male and female 💯 m!

It might have been affecting Alana all this time, not just now ! Alana is at least 3 years behind chronologically in age and numbers of years in that particular training regiment. Anything can happen, but I will take whatever she offers for now . I remember when her school coach got greedy and had her running in too many meets before she was ready, right on the heels of her massive PB.

Athletes like Shelly Ann Fraser, Asafa Powell, Sherone Simpson , Nesta Carter, and I damn sure wouldn't put it past Elaine using HGH, because she had to get braces, and it's a proven fact that HGH makes a person's jaw bones bigger , therefore their teeth is out of alignment. Alana has no pressure, as she is a young athlete. The pressure is on the veterans. She's just as good as all the competitors. If anything, she's a sleeper. Alana has to make the Jamaican team first, there's a lot of other women who want to make the team.

You don't really like a Coach or somebody who did track. How can Alana Reid be under pressure to deliver? Alana is no where near those 3 athletes. She did 10.9 once. Have you seen how her races are poor. Her mechanics, form is way off. Alana at best right now is a 11.25 or 11.3 sprinter. Call a spade a spade. Running 10.9 back then doesn't make u a 10.9 sprinter.
