Yeah, the jars are nice. For some reason they only sell them individually now while I did get a set a while back (quite a bit cheaper than too!).

Those colors by themselves, like you said, just don't stand out on their own. But you are a color combo mad scientist that creates beautiful and great fish catching soft plastics. If they're cost effective or less expensive, might be good for beginners to learn on and experiment with. I sort of got a motor oil vibe from the ones with the blues in them. I liked the pb & j looking ones as well. Great, honest review. Thanks for putting it together. See you next time. Eric

Definitely some potential, especially if you can get them discounted as a kit (which is how I snagged em months ago). I too thought of MO - a couple had a little “amber” tint going on reminiscent of that changeable. Thx for the feedback my friend!

Great video very informative. I was thinking of using them without the black for trans belly colors on open pour swimbaits. Like a dop snowshine in different shades.

That could certainly work, just pull back on the powder too. Keep in mind, the less saturated the mix the less you’ll see the shiftiness, but if you’re after a general tone, absolutely!

GREAT Video, one thing i like is your least favorite one, and my favorite was the last one the blue. i think those two would make an amazing dual color blue on top and your least favorite on the bottom. again great video.

I feel like some of those that are more of the violet/purple side would be good on like a violet grape or something kinda like that just something to tinker on to add a touch more pop to some other colors

No color shift is meant to stand on its own. Atleast form my experience, mostly with epoxy work and some strange but fortuitous results in applications it’s definitely not meant for. I’m certain you will make this baby’s shine within you creative color schemes. Chameleons especially work well with a light to medium dose of a BG ( “background”) color, probably a “transparent” pigment within the color shifts or opposites on the the old wheel.

I have a few Amazon colorshift powders from a different brand and get very similar results. They seem to be hit or miss on some of their colors lol. Still fun to use though. Thanks for sharing Adam

If it was up to me, I would take them to the lake to see what the best answer is. Let the fish tell you you might be surprised sometimes the things that looks good to us may be just the opposite to the fish let's be honest there are a lot of fishing items designed to catch the fishermen than the fish

Are you getting any “squeeze out” around the eyes before curing? That would help as it puts a resin ring around the eye. Also, be sure you’re curing them long enough with a light rated between 365-405nm. Get those lights as close to the bait as possible… the UV power drops as it “extends” so thin boxes are best.

Hmmm... maybe on a few, but most were pretty darn saturated already (especially the gold base options). My guess is, adding them to other bases, pulling out a specific feature in the color, is where these will shine (i.e. a Lureworks rootbeer pigment base, little purple flake, then spike it with the one stand-out color - I bet that would be KILLER!).

How do you cut up your soft plastics scissirs blender electric meat grinder ? Has to be a better way then scissors..

I'm still cutting up everything with scissors believe it of not. I know some guys use a grinder but I just don't have the volume of remelt to go to that length... plus, man, it seems like that would be a MESS, not to mention the "cross contamination" from the leftover previous color way down in the grinder. If you come across a better option - let me know!

@@SDGCustomLurecraft ive started using an old blender i pre cut to smallee hunks blend a bit and it seems to be melting down ok cleaning the blender out isnt to bad to avoid contamination but sounds violent may burn up the blender time will tell

@@SDGCustomLurecraft I found my mistake, you have to select the 8 color set and not just one color. Selecting the 8 color set gets you all 8 for $22.49. I almost insta-pooped when I saw $15.99 for one little jar. lol
