Total length is 3.4" - a nice step up from the 2.5" Ned Craw but not a full 4"+ making it too big to rig on a 3/8 head. I was hoping for a "butter zone" profile/finesse (although you can flip/pitch/punch with it too) size and style craw and Jason killed it!

To clarify, I may have given Jason a general idea, some input on a couple details working with him, but this is an EPIC design through and through! The "dream" that came true for me was getting to visit and see what Jason came up with, given that input, in celebration of my subscriber milestone. Heaven knows I don't have the skills to make something like he does, much less design it from scratch! LOL (that would be one ugly bait!)

Thanks for the comment. I clarified to the original poster, but want to add here - this isn't "my custom design" that EPIC agreed to make. We're friends and enjoy working with one another, so when I asked if they would help me celebrate the milestone they were happy to do so by adding a new mold to their lineup, one that Jason designed from scratch. I did have the pleasure of collaborating with them some, which was fun getting to see concept drawings and provide some ideas, but through and through, this is an EPIC design and mold, not a custom job just for me. Hopefully that makes sense as I think there's a big difference between a 1-off custom mold request for just one person and collaborating with someone to add to a company's lineup so ANYONE can buy it!

We would absolutely love to be able to make custom molds out of everyone's lure ideas, however, we just do not have the capacity to do that and offer our the Epic line of molds we do now. This was a special milestone project we did in collaboration with Adam, not a custom mold just for him. Instead, it's available to everyone :)

Each to their own I suppose! Between the unique designs, attention to detail, fit/finish, customer service, and 5 days or less turn-around time (when a lot of other makers are weeks... some MONTHS waiting to get to an order) EPIC molds are worth every nickel!
