I am confused on what exactly is covered. So lets say you wanted therapy, would they do that session over the video chat for only 9 dollars? Something smells fishy about just "9 dollars a month" doctors charge 100+ dollars per hour.

You would have to inquire with Amazon to know for sure, but it may be treated like other in person visits and have added charges.

@@frasereye They certainly do charge extra for anything in person. They say so in the text linked by an asterisk. " It will be charged to your existing insurance company, which has some value. So their " health plan " is a big joke as I see it. The $ 9 only pays for a little chit chat on the phone with a " doctor " . Doubt a real doctor is going to waste their time doing that. I have never been able to talk to my doctors on the phone , and I had been going to them for years. What you get is talking to one of the doc's gophers. Then they tell you they will call you back , which is usually hours later. 99% of the time they say you have to see the doc in person. That way the doc makes his $ 400 or more, for a few minutes. This could be a good option for when you're just not sure if your condition requires medical attention. It can also be good for work notes.

It will vary person to person depending on prior medical history and local healthcare options, but may be a good option for more basic diagnoses.
